The whole 07... non standard charges is just completely idiotic and moronic. How on earth a person would remember different often ranging to tens of numbers? Especially when used within a business environment? It's easy to remember 0845 has some charge, or even 0800 on mobiles but how can we remember that some 075 or 074 aren't included even though the rest is?
I'm thinking to make some kind of complain but already know OfCom doesn't care so maybe some consumer rights organisation or even some body within the EU.0 -
I completely agree, it is a crazy system and should not be allowed. Its not even all the 074 nos either, so there is really no way at all of knowing in advance if the call is included or not! This should be stopped now, but like you say of Ofcom probably wont care. I suggest contacting Which? The whole 07... non standard charges is just completely idiotic and moronic. It's even worse than that, and T-Mobile are the worst culprit at this. They have had not only 074 numbers, but also 075, 076, 078 and 079 numbers in their "non inclusive" list (I can't find their current list as the whole T-Mobile website is now amalgamated into the EE one, but I think it has been rationalised down somewhat since last year).====0 -
Calling Lyca mobiles since just a few days ago I'm getting the T-Mobile announcement that I may be charged for it? I've rung these numbers previously and never heard this message.
I've been calling a relative with a Lyca because I thought it was all included in my allowance. I'm going to check all my bills now.0 -

I've seen it reported elsewhere as being a fault. I found the 07 mobile prefix list for T-Mobile, is the number you are dialling on this list?Calls to non-inclusive 07 non-standard mobile services that are not included in allowances and will be charged at the standard mobile rate for your price plan.

The numbers I'm calling are 07448 4 and 07424 3 on Lyca mobile. I've been with T-Mobile since 2005 and not changed my plan for the last 5 years.
Ok, checked and they are on the list. It appears, if I've read it correctly, customers joining T-Mobile after Feb 2012 don't get charged. So loyal customers get shafted - very nice.0
