I have about 10 or 12 I think. I used to pay £25-30 a bra but then discovered that Marks and Spencers 40G fit me so I buy them in the sale for usually less than £10 .
I have to change them every day as I found being bigger if I wear them more than once I get an itchy rash :(

Thats not normal! Youre either alergic to something in the bra or its not fitting properly and causing irritation. I would suggest getting re fitted somwhere (not M&S) and see if that helps.

    Vixarooni,

Where would you suggest going for proper fitting? Someone else suggested La Senza so might try there. Im wearing a 34C and sure Im a 32D or DD but can never find anything to fit. Would you suggest measuring yourself is worthwhile or just go somewhere and try loads of bras on? Im not working so cant spend very much. (currently buy cheap M&S ones)

Sorry to hijack the thread!!! :o

I reckon I have at least 15 and I would bet that not a single one of them fits me properly lol. Bought most of them from Primark. I'm terrible for not bothering to buy the matching knickers too, Mum tells me off lol. Think I've been wearing 34Cs lately but they just don't feel right. I've lost weight lately too I think as they definitely look smaller. Got measured ages ago at La Senza and they said I'm 30DD eek but I couldn't afford to buy their bras. I wish I could measure myself properly and then buy online.

I dont want to go count mine as i have far to many of them. I probably have a staple of about 4 that are worn on a regular basis others are either special types to go under certain clothes or what i call my bedroom wear for the OH's eyes only ;-D

My bust is the place I lose and gain weight quickest so I have a load of bras in different sizes. I have 2 good sports ones that are now probably a bit too big but will have to do another while yet. I also have 2 good underwire fitted that are now def too big and don't give me any shape at all whereas they were perfect before i lost some weight. And one proper fitted t shirt bra in a horrible beige colour that gives me a fantastic shape :o I also have a load of 'nice' bras that look much better without clothes over the top of them :D

I really need to do some underwear shopping soon!
  • I have about 20 or so bras, but do tend to wear the same half dozen or so.(don't know why) I have tried primark bras, but dont do my size, but I do like tesco bras. I also find m & s bras usually fit me well.

I used to have only half a dozen (black, white, strapless, coloured etc) but since splitting with husband and then meeting new partner he has introduced me to the wonders of gorgeous lingerie! Now, I love it, must have 30 ish bras and matching knickers (always buy several pairs in diff cuts to get the most of the range!). M&S do fab sales and if you want a real treat try www.brandalley.co.uk you need to register, its 'designer sales' so varies what they have all the time but frequently different lingerie brands on their, last one was Elle Mcpherson, mostly around half price or more sometimes, I can't resist! If you introduce someone who makes a purchase you get a credit so thats my money saving excuse!
Would also recommend Selfridges for a fitting if you're near one - was measured elsewhere and didn't feel right, went there and no pressure to purchase, size felt much better and they also recommended different cuts that did / didn't complement my shape of boob!
  • I love Freya too - lovely, pretty bras that fit. I'm never going back to anything else.
