Hi anonymoose, hope you are well. That's interesting to hear about the 'saving the change' scheme - hadn't heard of that before. Is it just Lloyds who do that do you know? I'll have to do some research!

And have fun at Cadbury World, I went there a few years back now and LOVED IT! A chocoholics dream world!! :D
    2019 will be my year!!

    • [STRIKE]Transfer £40 from NW savings towards car bill [/STRIKE] God I hate the card reader thingy!!
    • [STRIKE]Go to garage & pick up car bill [/STRIKE] £254:eek: That did include £96 for a part that we didn't know needed replacing, but I paid £350 for the main part off ebay (would have been £1100 from Peugeot ) and I still have car tax to buy yet :(
    • Housework & [STRIKE]ironing[/STRIKE] housework is sort of done but I'm not really in the mood for it... more a sit on the sofa and read my book kind of mood today:rotfl:

I'd never heard of it before I logged on to the banking the other day :) But I just googled it and found a post on here from 2006 :rotfl: I don't know if anyone else does it  would be good if they did cos it seems like a great scheme.

The save the change scheme is great. I have only had one change payment paid so far but then becuase i haven't spent much! However today my 5 payments from over the weekend have come out of my account but there is no save the change amount after........i wonder if they wait until the end of the day and bulk them all together? Will have to check tomorrow. I hope you had a great day yesterday! x

  • Back from the world of choc and feeling slightly ick:rotfl:mainly from the bit where you get to choose what you want in the little pot of melted chocolate, i had wine gums in mine which went quite well, but oh my so sickly. We got a free bar of dairy milk, a curly wurly and some buttons :D

I've only had 1p go into my save the change since it started, but I haven't used my LTSB since then. Need to put this months spending money into the account tomorrow though.

    Hope everyone is ok :)

I use the Lloyds save the change thing. Its quite good as I top it up each month as my car tax/MOT fund.

I want to go to cadbury world now - not sure it would be safe to take DS though, I don't think I would be able to drag him away from it!
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x
  • Hi there!

Just found your diary and sounds so familiar to me, want to get it down but need a treat now and then too

Anyway look forward to reading on with your antics xx

  • *yawns* evening *yawns again*

back at work, on nights *cries* They've changed something on the IT system on our off days and it's all confuzzlating me :( it's supposed to make things easier but typically it seems more complicated now.

If you can get clubcard deals for Cad World I'd definitely recommend it but I thought £14 was a bit expensive. Can't beat the smell of chocolate as you walk round the factory:drool:

Had a trip out today and filled the car up *cries again* and bought hay for the animals. Then cleaned the piggies cages out when I got home.
Also washed the kitchen floor, can't remember the last time I actually did that :o was probably Christmas eve:o and did a batch of bread rolls, including some giant ones for bacon & egg butties before work:drool:

Ordered myself 10 books for £10 today as well but Mum will read them too so she'll pay half for them :)

Not much else to report:think: will no doubt be back rambling later when I get bored here.

    Moose x

PS thanks for popping by HamsterWheel

  • Urgh what's wrong with the snowball calculator thingy, it's showing that Cap1 should be £614.95 but the statement is £629.34 :( If anything I've put the interest slightly higher on the snowball so it shouldn't be showing less :(
