s-s I would expect people to ask before recording any kind of meeting. I was in a focus group just last week where they checked first that everyone was ok with recording things.
I've joined our other local freecycle group and now need to think of what I can offer as my first post, as i've offered a number of things on the other site! Still no word back from one of the women who was meant to be coming in the morning, irritating!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Evening all
Pleased with what I've achieved today. A little bit of everything. Still working to my own lists at present as I seem to get more time for other things (like gardening) that way.
Sarah - nice to see you, sorry I can't be of help but I wouldn't be happy if I was in your position and can't see how it is helpful in anyway really. It would make typing up the minutes very lengthy IMHO.
Vanilla - I'm glad hubbie is happy where he is and I hope he gets back on track real soon. Expect the Sparkie is studying the form for tomorrow's races :rotfl:
Triker - you achieved loads on the declutter week, you can't get loads done all the time hun. I hope you find a way forward with DD.
PenPen - hope you recover real soon sweetie - was your bike ok?
Off to the techie boards and then to bed, see you all tomorrow. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Oh I need to find my lists - have caught up with fred, and have promptly forgotten everything I meant to say so = big hugs to everyone that wants or needs them, congrats and commiserations as appropriate.
One I remember was Ruth, I cried when I read your post, it reminded me of the desperately sad day that I lost my beautiful gorgeous mother. It was 3 1/2 years ago now, and I so miss her. The day to day has got easier, I have stopped picking up the phone to ring her, and dont often think must tell mum that. But, there is a huge mum shaped hole in my heart, and I am still at a loss as to what to do with it, cos it doesnt get any smaller, and tbh I miss her so much. A while ago I said to my little boy, who is now 7 that I was sad that he probably didnt remember much about her cos he had been so little, and he said - Oh no mum, she comes and plays with me in my dreams! I thought that was lovely (although I balled my eyes out) and reminded me that she will always be in my memories. We send balloons to her, on birthdays etc and whenever we get one from anywhere, LO always wants to send them to Nanny to say hello. Anyway, sorry to waffle on, I just really want to say, I understand the desolation that you feel.
Also Sandy, hope everything went okay today - thinking of you.
Lady L, sorry the news wasnt good, Hope you are bearing up okay XX

Fo rmy mum's 70th we did a this is your life type photobook which if you can get enough photos would again make a lovely scrapbook.
I did a scrapbook for my Mum and Dad for their Ruby Wedding anniversary. It was a real labour of love, I totally underestimated how much effort it would be, but it was soooooooooo worth it. I did a family tree in it, and had photos of them as babies right up to present day, and pic sof our graduations, weddings, cildren etc. My Mum never says anything positive about anything but she raved on about the scrapbook for ages, left it out on her coffee table and showed it to anyone who came in their house. A great gift (if I do say so mself!)kazmeister wrote: »I had meant to quote JillD too - Hugs honey, you know we are all here for you. Although the diagnosis for your son was partially expected it can still come as a shock to have it confirmed. At least now though he should get the help he needs.

Evening All
PenPen - so sorry to hear about your black eye - that must have been a shock to the system.
I hope that all those that are feeling under the weather or have children and or OH that are sick, soon get better.
I thought I was going to have a good - started well - I managed to sort and declutter several different areas before work - I then start working from home and managed to do lots then just as I was stopping for lunch DD phoned from College to say she was unwell and having a melt down!!
She is really depressed and low in mood but she also says that she feels strangely happy for no apparent reason at other times. She has times when she cannot sleep and many days when she is so so tired. I tried ring GP but no appointments for at least a week, no emergency ones today and only GP I could speak was Dr Crap so I declined. I will try again tomorrow. I worry about leaving her at home with all of my medication here - I think I will take it to work tomorrow. I think today was a panic attack. I am not sure how to help her as everything I say seems to be the wrong thing.
She said that she has nothing to look forward to, no friends and no life...... I feel that I should try and organise a week away in UK as this would be cheapest. (not been away for several years) Might do me some good too. But it does mean that I will not be able to cut my hours at work as I will not be able to afford to save with a £300 drop in my income a month. I feel gutted as my health has been so fragile recently and even being at work for two days this week has increased my pain levels.
I am so sorry to off load - and not really about house work I know - but I feel at a loss of what to suggest or how to support her.November NSD 1/10Weight loss - 7lbs from the 41 I need to loose = 34 to go0
