Good evening everyone
Sandy - still thinking of you :A
The only Flying I've done today was Flying off my bike, on my way to work, into a lamp-post  Luckily a friend who's a nurse was just going past, and stopped and took me into A&E. No stitches, just steri-strips, a beautiful black eye and a bruised ego
Soappie - result :j
Vanilla, glad your hubbie has got some help :T
DS is cooking tea, so see you all later

Livingroom looking a little better. Kids driving me nuts so they will be in bed soon.;)
Kitchen is now awful with half the junk from the livingroom in it. I'm getting rid of most of this junk this week, it's a complete nightmare.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

Hello to all the gorgeous flyladies. :hello: :hello: I really miss being able to come on here and see what's going on with everyone. I hope everyone's ok...
Poor PenPen - hope the eye gets better really quickly.
And Vanilla - that sounds look great news finally.
I'm sorry to leap in and post with a non-flying related question, but I'm a bit stumped guys, and I'm hoping that the combined power of the flyladies might be able to sort out an answer for me....
I've posted this over on the employment boards too.
At my last staff meeting one of the admin team was taking minutes. Halfway through the meeting I noticed a camcorder in front of her with the counter running. I asked if she was recording, she said yes, she was.
I asked if I'd missed her asking consent, as I'd been out of the room when the meeting began. She looked flustered, and said it was just to help her with her note taking. No-one wanted to make a fuss there and then, as there were plenty of other issues to discuss.
Later on tho, my manager told me she'd asked our overall manager about recording meetings. Apparently she'd said she had no problems with meetings being recorded either audio or visually without getting consent.
I thought that was illegal? I spoke to the big boss, who said if I can show where it says that she can't do that she'll review her policy. Can anyone help please???
Sorry if the rules have changed... please forgive an oldtimer with a PITA of a big boss.

sexy and valli and any other primary teachers...I have just had a bit of a written rant in DD1s reading record as it seems to be being done entirely by DH. They have not recorded hearing her read since 22nd Feb. She is 7. AAAarrgghh.
Wouldn't mind, but only 15 in her class and two TAs.
eta sarahshattered DH says its a very strange thing to do, but hard to stop them. You are likely entitled to ask for a copy of all the recordings, if you want to make a big fuss. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
