Hotwire is coming back as over twice the price of priceline, ie: over $250.

With Priceline, is it normally cheaper to book via the US site or is there no difference. I ask as all the prices on betterbidding are (obviously) in $.

What hotels were coming up on Hotwire? If the rates were about $250 then maybe the Priceline rates will be almost that high.

I have found that there is virtually no price difference between the US or the UK site.

As I say in my guide stick with the UK site unless you want to use the "add a night" feature which only occurs on the US site.

    Thanks again Blindman

According to Batterbidding the Moevenpick can be had for about $250 dollars incl. taxes etc. for 2 nights (i know i need 3 but only price in BB is for 2). Hotel looks really nice on Tripadvisor.

I am aware that it is not Central but it is only 10-15 minute walk from the centre, and even quicker by cab!

Any thoughts and comments regarding the Moevenpick would be greatly appreciated, ta

With the new 24hour period lockout personally I’d stick with using the UK site, each to his own.

    AND:

    Easy Way
Register with Betterbidding and ask for a strategy, give the information required.
If you do ask for help then please support the site to help keep it going by bidding through their affiliate links.

Is it possible to link through betterbidding to the UK sites? I would prefer to support the site but get put through to American site only!

    Thanks

    I made CCMQ 4* bid for £55 ($98) and got counter offer of £99 ($176) i using .co.uk site.
Wife made initial bis as above for £65 ($116) and got same counter offer.
I changed to CCMQ and North and bid £68 ($121) and this was refused.
Would not let Wife bid again.

Any thoughts and suggestions sought please.

    Thanks
