It's not because of caps lock or cos they're not working, it's because every letter in your post was a capital, and this forum doesn't like that, so it converts them all to lower case letters.
If you retype, and add just one lower case letter, it will work.

Nope, I used the smiley box and when I changed them all to 'D' they all changed back...Capslock on?
