can anybody tell me where i find prices for these
thank you0 -
ermm... there is no suvh thing as a VIP ticket for disney. There is a special party in the evenings call mickeys very merry christmas partyat that time fo year. It is a seperate ticketed event, and tickets are about $42 each (less for a child) , ticket prices are on www.disney.com.
A good site for imformation generally is www.thedibb.co.uk/forums0 -
thanks i will look at that site
there are some vip tickets on ebay and i just wondered how you find the true price of them0 -
There are NO ‘VIP tickets’ as such. Your friend may be talking of the VIP Fast Pass tickets, these are not sold by Disney and are given out free of charge for different reasons, mainly at the moment for the year of a million dreams promotions.
These tickets will each give you access to the fast pass line to the ride they specify, and are usually each good only for one ride. (They are usually not meant to be transferable either). If Disney believe they are bought on the black market, then just as with entrance tickets, they will confiscate them.
The fast pass system is a system that allows you to take a ticket from a machine; this gives you a time to return to the ride and prevents you waiting in line for ages. You can hold one fast pass fop reach entrance ticket at a time, and all guests can use this service.0 -
Arrived home yesterday. Had a wonderful couple of weeks with Flight and car thru TCD. Villa booked from Internet! Down the I27 in Haines city. Loved it, being regulars to Florida this is our first time out of the Kissimmee area, it was like going back to the 70's and 80's. It was great. 20 minutes to Disney with a mainly open road. Can take that to do a mile up the 192!
'But beware--
Although there are notices up that US security will break into suitcases after they have been checked in if the cases do not have regulation locks on them!
One of ours was broken into, it is an Antler suitcase, cannot get more regulation than that! It is now totally ruined were they jemmied the lock open.
This is what the Americans are hated for throughout the world their arrogance that they can do what ever they like when ever they like.
Why could they not call for us to open the luggage?
These cases are a matched pair, they are over £100 each to have them destroyed this way is heartbreaking, the one that was wrecked was a present from me to my wife!
We are going to try and take it up with our insurance and TCD, after all once checked in they are under their care!
This really has ruined our holiday, it will be the only remaining memory.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
What a shame about your suitcases and I can understand how upset you must feel.
Having said that, in all the recent times we have flown to the USA there have been signs everywhere saying that all locks must be TSA approved. I am sure the signs were prevalent in the UK airports we flew from as well, and our tour operators / flight carriers' terms and conditions/notes of the flights we booked. I'm not sure what else they could do to make passengers aware?
I seem to remember it being all over the news too at various points over the last few years.
Good luck with your insurance claim though.0 -
I agree with you Karen, we saw the notices but one assumes that Antler cases who are world wide would be TSA approved and that's why they are/were locked.
If you fly with Virgin they do not recommend you leave your cases unlocked!Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
One alternative is to use cable ties at £1 for 100 at B&Q.illegitimi non carborundum0

Having TSA locks on your cases is essential for travel to the USA.
I posted a tip a while back about a website that sells these cheap.
I'm not sure how I refer you to the original posting so here's the link again if it helps anyone. The site is tripneeds.com.

Hello,
we are off to Orlando On July 7th for 3 weeks and were wondering whether or not we should pay to get the pool heated in the villa we have rented. Do we need it or will it be warm enough? I have 2 kids 9 and 3 and i want them to get the full benefit from it. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks
When I rent my place out recommend that pool heating is taken between Oct & April roughly.....so you will def not need it during July, unless you want to go from sweltering heat to bath-hot pool. Sometimes it's nice to have a cooler dip initially to refresh
cheers
