    Hi Finishrich

Yes we have looked into the health insurance costs in USA. A family of four can get full dental and health insurance for around $100 per month-even with my current medical conditions, there is a $25 excess on each treatment, but you can get an appointment immediatly and be referred to specialists etc very fast.
A company has offered hubby a job on completion of training which would include full health, dentist and life insurance for the whole family. they are also willing to cover full costs of moving, finding a suitable property for us,schools, a new car with full insurance and a generous annual income :D
We still havent decided totally on what we are going to do, but another option is there for us if we want it.

I would also recomend Mercury Travel for all your tickets and passes. If you order your tickets with the holiday you get an extra 5% discount! :p We normally go for a 5 day Disney Hopper, and a 4/5 park flex ticket. We have been to discovery cove and we personally thought it was a waste of money. The cheapest ticket with a 20 min dolphin swim was £150 each. I would say, save your money and go to Disneys Blizzard beach, where there is an area that you can snorkal with all the fish etc around your feet. This is normally included with your disney hopper. There is another company we use which i cant remember but I have Omar's email address. If you would like me to post it, please ask and I'll dig it out. Saying that, there are tickets venues everywhere but would recomend buying them before you go...dont waste your time in florida seeking cheap tickets. The exchange rate is excellent at the moment, so you will get an excellent deal.

    Regards

OK guys, let me know when you are really fed up of my posts! I am a real "travel beginner". Now my hunt is on for the cheapest theme park passes, and which parks are best to visit. My daughter insists on Discovery cove - Dolphins are non-negotiable apparently. Next lot of advise welcome please - bring it on!

I have researched all the ticket prices for this year and can confirm that the company FinishRich has directed you to is the cheapest for UK tickets for Disney :) Disney changed their tickets at the beginning of this year and now have a series of deals for UK travellers only.

Check out Dis forums for happy users of Discovery Cove but at £150 I am finding it difficult to justify the price :( so I am trying to avoid even mentioning it to my daughter!

Hi Everyone. just wanted to say Thanks for all your help on this thread. i have picked up some fab info (and some bargains) through following your advice. I am also wondering where to start with the Park Tickets, Flexi-passes/Hopper tickets Ugh It's a minefield. i would also be interested to hear about other people's thought on swimming with Dolphins as my niece would love to do that and it's her birthday while we are out there, but if it's not worth the money we could do something else just as special.
Once again Thanks to all contributor's on here, esp Fisnishrich and Edinburghlass!!

You are very welcome Elljay, the research into our holiday this year seems to be all consuming as I end up hitting the Diz forums late at night then two hours later find myself still reading them ;) Mainly I read the UK planning board and one tip is sign up as their board is the same software as here and if you go into your UserCP, control panel, you can disable all signatures which makes for much easier reading as everyone on there has huge signatures and usuallly contain a ticker for their next trip

Although my daughter, 14, would love the Dolphin swim I am vearing towards a special day at Seaworld, perhaps dining with Shamui or one of the guided tours round Seaworld.

As we are staying onsite at Disney I am going for the UK Magic Your Way 14 day Disney ticket at £154 as this will suit us best but it really depends on what you plan to do:D

Thanks, FR I had been reading that last night and noticed the price! How far away from Disney onsite is the Planet Hollywood?

    :)

edited to add that I think the tickets for Seaworld are cheaper at Best4attractions too:)

In my view it's definitely worth it , we had a wonderful day at Discovery Cove and our daughter loved it. It was the highlight of our holiday :)

Though expensive , you also get passes for Sea World and Busch Gardens for 7 consectutive days before or after your Discovery Cove visit. I'm not a big fan of Busch Gardens personally , but Sea World is great and if you didn't go to Discovery Cove , you could see Dolphins at close quarters and feed them there.

    :)

There is a Planet Hollywood at Downtown Disney, and not 100% but think there could be one at Universal too.

Where are you staying at Disney?
