is it never cloudy in florida??? dont think i can cope with that kind of sun heat everyday

We were there August last year and in three weeks almost every day there was a rain shower at 4pm. Usually lasted 5 minutes then dried up instantly! Hover by a shop or inside attraction at 4!

We're off to the Gulf Coast (Tampa & Cape Coral, avoiding Disney like the plague) in November when the weather will be like a nice English Summers Day, lovely - can't wait.962.gif

Have booked with Alpharooms before, they were fine, they are a UK based company.

We have booked with findorlandorooms.com the process was simple and they were by far the cheapest company to book through.

Try priceline.com as well, they are now letting you choose which hotel you would like to book.
  • advice for people going to florida watch out for the pizza ,flyers they put inthe rooms .some ask for credit card details, and once they have that your conned.also if you get tkts for attractions some are dated you have to use them this year[no carry over]also take a plastic rain coat cheaper than theirs.just got bk good deal at the parks soft drink in container with i dollar refills.
  • regarding tickets, go to a petrol station which has a booth which sells unused tickets which have been bought from guests returning home without useing all the allocation. you should get an all parks for $50 , no tax.
dont be suckered into "free" tickets, you get the hard sell(4hours) at a "presentation" (time share.)
there is a booth near my place, on the 192 west, across from orange lake county club.
for a cheap day out, hire a electric boat, $25, holds six, for one hour and cruise the swamps, self drive, just past walmart on the 192 east.--have a nice day!
