I was given a few more orders today by friends and people at work. My total so far is £146 :-)
Still got just under 2 weeks to get my order in so going to drop a couple more times in my territory and see what I get!

Well done, Becky. Just a little tip, don't leave it until the last minute to input your order online - the only time I did that there was a problem with the website (assume it couldn't cope with the traffic but could be wrong). Ever since, I always try and make sure my order's completed and ready for submission at least a day or two before the deadline.

Wow, Becky, good job! I've also started on C10 and only had 2 non-FF orders so far and am only barely above MOV
. Am optimistic and shall keep persevering with drops no matter what. I've lost about 1/2 my C10 books which is a bit pants, but am going to keep trying to get them back. When I picked up today's round, someone had included a C9 book in the bag (which I did not hand out, since I don't have any!) which I'm really hoping was a F&F and not someone that had encroached on my new territory. Trouble is that now I've looked through it and found about 10 things I want to order! :rotfl: C10 is a bit crap in comparison so now I understand why the orders have been a bit slow! lol...

Best thing about C10 I think is the flipflops @ £10; some of the AT and Footworks products are cheaper than C9 but all in all, not 'one of the good uns'
2nd thoughts, best thing about C10 is that you can back-order C9 so to any newbies starting in C10 ask your SL/ASMs for some C9 books and particularly the little C9 flyer where you got a free nail varnish with everything. (Today I got a C10 order for a Quad Eyeshadow @ £8 but 'creatively ordered' it from C9 @ £5 including a free Pro-Nail Enamel..... result! :T Specially if said nail varnish has been ordered/sold previously:T:T)

Well its my third order and finally i have had a product missing, which i think is pretty good going.
My question is i have ordered a replacement online, i think i did it correctly but does anyone know when it gets dispached. Is it sent via royal mail or will i now have to wait until my next order.
thanksAvon rep
Camp 7 £143.00:) Camp 8 £214:D0 -
Hi cattyfingers, it is normally despatched by Royal Mail. And can be anything from 5-7 days although sometimes replacements have been known to turn up even quicker!
If it is a very heavy product, it will be despatched by courier.0 -
for all you new ladies and gents, who are worried about your first orders with Avon... here is my story.....
started last March... first campaign £0, second campaign £0, third campaign £38..... it only got better after that for me.
So don't worry if you have only made MoV! That is a blooming good start if you compare it to me! If you have made HoV, that is brilliant! Remember some people will be testing you to see if you are a reliable Avon Representative, will you really be back next month... are you a stayer.. or are you going to give up after a few campaigns. People like continuity in their lives and they are probably checking to see if you are going to be around for a while. You will probably find you pick up more customers next campaign, and more after that. And as the word spreads you will get customers asking for books for their family/friends as they don't have an avon rep.
Also carry a book wherever you go! Ask at the hairdressers, beauticians, library, supermarket, baby group, anywhere! Do the staff see an avon book? If no, would they like too? No obligation to buy, 90 day guarantee on returns, full refunds, no quibble. I was sitting at the bus stop with mine out this morning hoping the young lady next to me would ask to see it.... she didn't but there is always tomorrow....0 -
Well, the orders are in and on the system.
Tonights (tuesday) party went well for me. So for for C10.......
Total sales £1313.81 (who says 13 is an unlucky number)
Fergie sets sold in C10 = 22
Average order value £17.98
Average sales/book £18.76
Total number of customers served 73!
Ive made over £100 profit from the Fergie sets alone!!!!
This is my 6th order and will definately hit PC by my 8th or if Im really lucky, my 7th order. It would be nice to think that next year I might hit Silver PC.
So newbies, it does go to show, that if you work your territory really well, and keep going back to ALL of those houses, (unless they asked you not to) it is possible to generate a bucket load of sales. As Aureol posted above, it is a slow and shakey start for most of us. I honestly though Id made the biggest mistake of my life when I first started doing my first campagin. But it really did pick up quickly after that.
Oh and I profited on the raffle too
Rome wasnt built in a day and a successful, profitable business does take TIME and EFFORT to build. Please dont throw in the towel until youve done your first 6 orders and see where you are then. At least if you decide to quit at that time, you will have given Avon a fair go.
Im off to bed now. it doesnt usually take this long to process a party, but i always print off my order and check off each item to make sure that I have not missed anything off or need to change the C.O.M. to benefit me!:T wealth is a state of mind :T0 -

Morning Aless
Do you have any of the 'calling cards'?
I give some to all of my new reps doing territory. The idea is that if the book is not outside and no one is home when you knock, then you leave a card to say you have called and mark on it which day you are coming back.
It does make a whole lot of difference and makes getting your books back easier.
They are 60p to order for 100 cards. Available in HT in the stationary section under REPRESENTATIVE CALLING CARDS. (sorry dont have a book to hand) The other thing I would strongly reccommend is the brochure bags at 50 for 80p. Mine last ages usually about 3 campaigns. At least your books dont get soaking wet when they are left on the step and it pours down.
Sandwich bags or freezer bags work just as well.
Keep at it hun, you will get there.:):T wealth is a state of mind :T0
