    Hi Everyone,

I had a pressie from Avon as I have been with them 10 campaigns! It's a 'Today, Tomorrow, Always' EDP in a green box. I can't find it in the brochure and wonder if it's new, old etc. I don't want to open it as I may use it as an incentive but want to know what kind of fragrance eg floral etc?

    Thankyou ;)

Hiya Dingdong ... yes I got that (well I would have got it if it wasn't one of the items they missed out of the box) as well, no idea what it smells like so will see if anybody on here knows. I have to say I thought it was a current one so bit disappointing if not.

I got it for my 6 month anniversary - after I'd also done 10 campaigns.

On another point the 9 items missing from my delivery still haven't arrived. Grr. Delivery was a week and 5 days ago so I'm a bit p'd off. Apparently they posted it on Wednesday last week so i expect they'll just blame royal mail.

Ding-dong - found this on the internet:

Today Tomorrow Always perfume, by Avon, was launched in 2004 and is the first in a trilogy of premium fragrances. The first part of a collection that explores the evolving notion of love through scent. Today Tomorrow Always perfume is a beautiful scent that combines the buddleia flower with a melody of freesia blossom, silk musk, cedar wood, green cactus and a hint of hibiscus.

    Hope that helps

Any Newbies who would like my hints, templates, etc, please PM me with your email addy and I'll be pleased to help :hello: As Aureol has already said, there is quite a bit of advice at the beginning of this thread too.

Im really really pleased for you two that had your gifts from Avon. Sadly, I think that Avon should be sending us current items as gifts so we can advertise them and demonstrate to our customers. All very well getting a great perfume, but if your customers like it, we cant sell them any.

    Silly Avon.

Unfortunately its not a current item but one of 3 fragrances from the range you mentioned. This one is Always. I actually like all 3 of these and bought myself a box of this from clearance a few months ago.

Well oh got sent that perfume for doing a year - o thanks Avon giving a man a ladies perfume to use!!! Not like it's current so can't be used to demonstrate. About as much good to him as the ladies handbag they gave him for his birthday! Complained about that and all they said was we cant return it....we'd never asked to just emailed to suggest they send male reps either a unisex gift or something from the mens range!

    Silly Avon.

I quite agree - Silly Avon. Mind you it does not come as a surprise.

Anybody fancy being a fly on the wall for the conversation I'm going to have tomorrow with Avon? Something along the lines of:

ME: The 9 items missing from my delivery on 21st May have still not arrived.
Avon: Madam (!) they were posted on Wednesday 26th May so they should be with you soon.
ME: My next order is due to be submitted this Friday. At the moment I am unable to pay my outstanding balance in full because I cannot collect the money for the missing items.

(I may not mention that the fact that I spent all my profit is not helping this dilemma)

Avon: Miss, you must pay your outstanding balance before your next order can be dispatched.
ME: And how do you suggest I collect the money for the missing items?

I think we can safely say that Clare has learnt a valuable lesson this time.

Do not spend all your profit just in case Avon decide to screw up your delivery and you need your profit to pay your outstanding balance.

    Ahem.

You might be ok, last year we had a couple of expensive items missing (£20 each) do emailed to complain and mentioned will struggle to pay - I had a reply saying they would tell the relevant department so didn't have to pay for them before they were received. Though they arrived in record time in 3 days which they never have before! Worth a try, no point paying for items you haven't had.

Thanks Lozza for that - have emailed via Contact Us on the website so fingers crossed. I'll be willing and able to pay most of the balance but don't see why I should pay for the immediate replacement items if they haven't arrived!!

I guess Avon quote 7-10 days and it is was 10 days on Bank Holiday Monday. Even still, not impressed that it took them 4 of these days to send them out via royal mail!!

Really hoping I get home tonight to a card from royal mail to say the parcel is waiting for me at the post office.
