I hate returning as it means i loose earnings, if I can sell it on then it means I still earn something. Plus if they're brand new items a lot of the item Avon still have to chuck them, make up particularly, due to germs and they can't know for sure if somebody has used it or not, whereas I know if I've never delivered it. Plus it affects sales figures, and if it's returns on my account then I have to put more sales trough on my account to make up for it in order to be sure I'll earn from my team as otherwise Avon don't count you having put £148 of sales through if returns take you below that.

Just delivering the orders for my third campaign and my OH's 1st campaign and I'm loving it.

Out of the 30+ customers I delivered to last night only two were not in and I managed to collect nearly £400 so can now pay Avon and know that the money from the two customers is my 'profit' :T:j

Have also got a bit of 'stock' to take to the local car boot sale on Sunday - pleased the weather is going to be good as I have some sun lotions to sell! :p

Ohhh and just when Avon were doing so well. I have NEVER had items missing from my order (I don't mean OOS, I mean charged for and missing from box) since I started in November. I realise that probably makes me a very lucky girl, but Avon have proper made up for it this time ...

Delivery came yesterday and there are a grand total of NINE items missing!! Two customers orders are totally missing, two customers orders are partially missing. That'll be fun when I deliver on Tuesday. Have ordered immediate replacements which will come through the carrier because there are so many.

I thought there was a box missing, but I've counted up and I've got the right number of packages.

Felt like a right dodgy dealer when I had to ask for replacements for all those, and the fact that customer services had to keep putting me on hold just made me feel even worse!!

I am also missing my anniversary gift!!!! And one of the items was the pink summer jewellery travel set from HT which I was really looking forward to.

Well of course, I could never advise you to do something so outrageous (I'm assuming its not charged) :p

However, if you have an email group, you could offer it as a freebie to the first to claim it - if there are no takers, just do the decent thing and pop it in one of your returns boxes :D. I often do a small giveaway when I do my reminder email before I place my order. It gives me an idea who actually READS my emails (not many, I suspect). On the subject of which.....I suspect that my emails often end up in a spam folder as they are sent to around 30 recipients - does anyone know any way round that, short of sending each one individually? BTW, I always send a follow up email when it has been claimed, under the heading 'Freebie now gone' or something similar, so that the ones who just don't bother reading my emails know they have missed out on something, but then I'm just evil :D

Hi Gloversgirl, that refers to the materials. It is saying it is 100% polyester but that the embroidered design is made from another material (probably cotton).

Ditto, Aureol, haven't made a penny from my team either - as yet - but my own SL has..... Hmm... how does that work?

No matter - sorry, been busy but got a query - how do I find out who my DSM is? Earlier in the thread am pretty sure there was some reference to ASM's replying within 2 working days to our emails? Possibly unfortunate in my case (what's new...) but I emailed my ASM on 15 May.... no reply.... so forwarded it again on 19 May to get an auto acknowledgement that she's away from 19 May until 6 June!

Don't want to stir things for her - just want to confirm territory (which was supposedly allocated - but not so according to SMA - as far back as last year!!!! )

You have to have made £148 in sales yourself before you can even start earning from your team and then each member of your team must submit at least a minimum order level, and if they have made any returns this is deducted from total sales, so this can affect you too. Your SL is making money because she is achieving HoV and you are too? or MoV at least. And so are the rest of her team.

Oh yes, to find out your DSM,email the Avon Sales Leader team, tell them your area code and ask for DSM's details.
