    Can the points be credited to the same Tesco points card or has it to be 2 seperate cards?
    We have a joint card, which means we both have a number but the account only sends one mailing.
    It might even be a better idea to keep your accounts seperate as then you get 2 lots of money off and bonus coupons every quarter. On the leaflet it says that if you dont have a clubcard they will open one for you, but I think that if you pick up one instore they give you a few extra points.

    "Please send recent original documents, one from each of the sections below, ..."

    Proof of identity 2 (showing your full name and address)
    Dated within the last six months

    * Original bank statement.
    * Original building society statement.

    How are you supposed to do this if you only have online statements?

    This may be a silly question but does this affect your credit rating in any way. I know that if you apply for a few credit cards, current accounts or loans in a short amount of time it can hurt your credit scoring as any financial organisation has to run a check on you. Will they still runa check on your for a savings account?

    Reason I ask is I'm going travelling in a few months so will be applying for a Nationwide Credit card before I go and I dont want to do anything which may affect this application.

    Why can't you get your £1000 back early in OCTOBER rather than early in NOVEMBER?

    I wondered that - presumably waiting until the 1,000 points have appeared in your November Clubcard mailing?

    Because martin's a stupid boy and when concentrating on the small print to make sure it was exactly right, stupidly wrote down the wrong month in his explanation! I've changed the text, my apologies, luckily when I send out the reminder email to people about this - the correct info will be in!

    Yes you can have 2 accounts at the same address and get 2000 points
    Can you open 2 accounts perperson and get 2000 points?
    And another 2 accounts for o/h using their clubcard?

  • Ooo! 1000 Tesco clubcard points ... seems like a lot of hassle for little gain
