Thanks sandline for taking the time to upload & welcome to MSE.

The PPC system is changing as of tomorrow (Mon 1st Oct 2012) which means the existing letters will effectively be out of date then so don't worry about uploading further letters (don't want you to spend unnecessary time on this).

PPCs will be sending out differently worded letters from October onwards to incorporate the new appeals service and registered keeper liability. We'll be putting together a new list of letters once those start coming in.

Crabman make sure you keep the thread though, as popla is only for england and wales, the old thread will still cover scotland and NI
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

...and POPLA is only for AOS members anyway.

So we could still see non-AOS member letter-chains in response to any attempted appeal from a victim that then gives them an address to bombard with threatograms (of course we must be clear NOT to tell people to appeal if it's not an AOS member, so the letters can be completely avoided).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Probably be good to keep a link to current AOS members on the thread, just to ensure that it's up to date

Good idea, I'll put this in the updated thread:

    http://www.britishparking.co.uk/AOS-Members

I'm waiting to see what MSE do on the main site regarding the private parking tickets article, so that we can keep the letter chains thread as easy to read as possible.

Yeah I'm curious as well, I really think they should ask the views of people on the forum as well , just so they are getting views that may help clarify the situation

you may like to add popla to the abbreviations thread btw ;)

My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com
