Hi all, here is a link to a new letter from MET; letter number 8:

Maybe this can be added to the closed post featuring all the scanned letters ?0 -

The company I work for received a ticket through post as I had over stayed using a company car in a retail park which is Free Parking for 2 hours. There is no way to extend your stay by ticket machine or pay by phone. My boss is very good about it and has ignored the 3 speculative invoices or Parking Charge Notices as they (Parking Eye) call them. Today we received a letter from Broxburge debt collectors which will be met with the same response, I have told all the staff that answer the phone to watch out for fishing calls re the Vehicle or the driver and to say we do not disclose any details over the phone make all requests in writing then hang up. I think I am taking the correct course of action. Or am I getting it wrong?0

Oh, and there will be a £50.00 admin fee to cover the time trying to identify the driver - payable in advance, non refundable, please allow 5 years for reply. Oh a signed contract between the driver and PPC will also need to be supplied by the PPC. click.0 -
Thank you for the moral support, I just needed reassurance. I kind of suspect that they would have a hard time in court trying to prove I owe them any thing, as the car park is free. So their loss is zero £0.00! which is by a strange coincidence exactly the amount I am prepared to pay them.0

Well done.
The debt collector is actually Roxburghe, and the next letters they send at some point have a 'Graham White Solcitiors' heading. Scary? NOT! :rotfl:
You are not liable to pay and you must not 'appeal' either. This is a private company with an unsolicited invoice, dressed up to impersonate a parking ticket.

HTHPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks very much for scanning and uploading these, I've updated the first letter (we already had the initial parking charge notice/ticket).
Your contribution to our letterchains is appreciated. :cool:0
