Well done on paying the laptop off!
I am a Gleek too, love it!
Make sure you still come on and post or we will miss you!0 -
I'm a bit of a Gleek, so can't understand how you could just watch a couple and not the rest of the series!
I watched one episode (the one where the teacher guy's wife was pretending to be pregnant) then kept missing the others! Annoyed I didn't bother to watch it when it first started but oh well!Make sure you still come on and post or we will miss you!
I agreeWell done for paying the laptop off though! Onto the next savings plan!

Definitely! Otherwise where will we get our make up, clothes and er... puppy updates?! Me and OH are both desperate to have a dog but it just wouldn't be fair as we work full-time. (I'm trying to persuade him that if he earns a bit more I could give up work to look after it. Ha!)LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
In that case you need TWO puppies. So they can keep each other company!
I will keep on posting, don't worry! Have a fair bit of saving to do, and still a bit of money I owe my Parents I need to clear. Waiting on my wage slip atm, then I'll know just how much I'm getting paid this week to sort it all out.
Update of accounts:
ISA: £700/£AMAP
Holiday Account: £120/£AMAP
Car Account: £70/£ASAP
iPod Touch: £12.05/£250
'Big Costs' Account: £0.05/£AMAP
The iPod touch account is the only one with a set target. The rest are just a matter of as much as possible. I still see the ISA as the House Account, and very much doubt this will go up unless I get some premium bond winnings.
The big costs account is basically going to be any left over/given money which will be put towards big treats, say.. an iPad :blushing: or anything that I wouldn't buy out of my weekly spending budget.
I'll basically just copy and paste the above accountness into my payday post. Rather than updating everytime I move 5p around!
But for now I'll sit here, and wait for my MAC order. I blame Poddle for this. Thinking she can mention MAC to me without it effecting my bank balance.. but in a nice loving 'yay I have new MAC!' way0 -
Is it perverse of me to enjoy looking at people's accounts and see what they're saving up for? It really inspires me to save more. I'm loving piggybanking at the minute and am having to stop myself from opening seperate accounts for petrol, cat food, baking ingredients etc etc and totally compartmentalising my spending!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

I love the idea of that Tete, but I can barely remember one PIN number let alone several, I have 2 current accounts but I can only use one as I have no idea what the PIN number is for the other one and I've already had 3 new ones sent out to me which I look at, destroy then forget! D'oh! I'll have to remember to move my London money from that account into my actual account before I go or I'll be a bit stuck!
I saw the iPad on Something for the Weekend and it does look nice, I can understand why you're after one Cinny!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
You can change pins at the cashpoint Birdie - just request it again, take the bit of paper with you and change it straight away
I had that mad 17 savings accounts system a while ago that confused everyone Tete beause I liked the little pots too - but it was too many log ons! Now I just have the one at the best rate, and a spreadsheet breaking everything down.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I'm the same! It's been so brilliant having extra accounts for 'Car' and 'Christmas' but I'd like more too!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Well this is where I'm not very MSE you see, I just have them on my current account in the little piggy bank pots
But then I do have the bulk of my money in a decent ISA, only the stuff I need to access easily in the CA ... am I forgiven?
