Just been having a nosey on your blog - LOVE the flowery dress
Hmmm, I have an optician appointment at lunchtime and oh, look, isn't that Primarni across the road from it?!
Best check the old bank balance first though eh?!

The flowery dress is pretty lovely! I was messing with it the other day *has nothing better to do* and it looks good 'wintered up' with thick grey tights, boots and a thick cardie. I'm convinced it's going to get cold again and want to make sure I can still wear my new summery clothes
Nothing to do at work. Been playing Gold Miner for most of the morning, thrilling!0 -
Got home at 4pm today
So decided to take my pooch to the park. My Mums dog Trev came with, so played catch and chased them around a bit. Both nicely knackered, and having a little nap.
Sat with a facemask on at the moment, and just about to have a nice bubble bath! (to use up my toiletries stash of course..)
Not much planned for tonight, just watching the soaps snuggled in my jammies. But it's free, and I've got through today without spending anything. Which I didn't think I'd do this week!
Tomorrow is the start of the 'I will do better' week. So I'm planning on getting up when my alarm goes off instead of hitting snooze. Repeatedly.
Best get moving, the facemask is starting to tighten a little too much!0 -
Sound slike you have had a lovely day today. Hope the doggies enjoyed their walk.
Enjoy the evening of soaps!0 -
I'll try Wendz
Hope you're well!
Have the afternoon to myself tomorrow, as OH has decided to ditch me for steak night at his houseand my Mum is working. So I think I'll take them for a walk again then. Maybe just my dog though, as Trev near pulled my arm off today.
Wanting to go to the Library though, there's a Stephen King book I want to read which I was going to get off Amazon - but obviously it's free and I get it straight away from the library! And pretty MSE of me, isn't it? Plus I can have a stroll to the bank and get some spending pennies out. Need to wait until the morning to figure the budget out though, hmm. Hate waiting!
I'm all squeeky clean now though, going to quickly towel dry my hair before Easties. Doing a DIY manicure tonight too, been about a week since I last did one!0 -
Sounds like you've had a lovely afternoon Cinny
OH has applied for another job - its more money and less responisibility. Its an assistant kitchen manager position rather than manager, which should help with his stress levels! Well anyway he has got an interview next week so fingers crossed.
Also booked a viewing for another house for next Thursday
Hope you have fun tomorrow even if your OH is going off for his steak night!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Ooo, I'll keep my fingers crossed for your OH Flower! Weird how it's less responisibility but more money, but it does sound good!!
Moved £38.88 into the laptop account this morningPaid my board and I still have £100 left free in my account. Which is kinna novel! Thinking of maybe going to Lincoln tomorrow though, which would soak up most of it. But Sunday should be a cheap one, to balance it out.
Need to be really good when I go to the Library today. I'm in a super spendy mood and I know it, so need to resist all the shops on the way home *can do it* I really want to read this book, so I'll tell myself the sooner I get home and walk the pooches the sooner I can start itLets just hope they have it! In the mood for any Stephen King book though, so I'm sure if they don't have the one I'm after I can just grab another.
Have a nice morning everyone!0 -
Oh the job sounds good Flower, I hope your OH gets it! There's no point being stressed out if you can get more money to worry less elsewhere! Hope you like the house next week too!
Be strong today Cinny! I haven't been to the library for aggggggges, I think once I've finished my massive pile of books at home I'll start going to the library instead of buying books!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I've told myself I have to get books from the Library from now on, it seems silly spending £5 on a book to read it once and then let it gather dust when I can get it for nothing. Out of all the books in my house, there's only 3 I've read more than once. And one of those is a kids book I read everyday one summer when I was about 6 (The Queens Knickers!) Our library has been fitted with Self Service things though, I'm worried I'm going to break it and all the old ladies who are pros on it will roll their eyes and huff at me!
Been speaking to OH and we've decided to go on a walk tomorrow rather than Lincoln. Will be miles cheaper anyways, which is fine by me! Was going to stop by Tescos on the way home and get a cheap DVD to watch tomorrow night, but remembered Collateral is on Film4 at 9 so that will be good enough!
Okay, list for this afternoon!
♥ Go to Library
♥ Get home from town without shopping
♥ Take the dogs to the park
♥ Change bedding
♥ Dust Room
♥ Sweep and mop floor
♥ Clean Pippins food bowl
♥ Watch Outnumbered on iPlayer
♥ Look through my toiletries and try and set up some new routines to get it all used up.
Best get on with my work-work now0 -

They didn't have the book I wanted, or the back up book to the book I wanted so I got one filled with Mr.King short stories. I figure it'll be good for while I'm doing full days at work next week though.
Just about to put Outnumbered on to watch while I change my bedding and dust about. Going to Tescos with my Mum in a bit, will try to behave! I'm just going for the drive more than anything0
