That's the thing with Brothers, they're stinky most of the time but do the odd nice thing which makes it worth having them around :D Mine buys me and my Sister chocolate whenever we're glum!

That dress is so pretty!! I really want a maxi dress, but I'm not 100% sure I could pull it off - and I'm not going on holiday anywhere hot to wear it either!

My brother doesn't even buy me chocolate :( He does spoil me at Christmas though, I got my lovely posh Barbie from him so that makes up for everything!

My friend has found the fascinator she wants to go with the dress I posted, that's something special!

I'm not so good with maxi dresses, I like them but they make me look pregnant!

My problem would be that I'm too short! Would end up stepping on it constantly, or dragging it through general rubbish :o Ooh, unless I got a Petite one!! But even then, haven't got anywhere to wear it.

That sure is something special though Birdie!! Makes me think of SJP at the Sex and the City premier!

My friend's a shorty and the dress is a little long but if she wears wedges it'll be fine! As for not having any reason to wear it, my Mum always says, 'make the occasion'. If you feel like dressing up, dress up! Maxi dresses are basically long summer dresses so wear it on a day out like you'd wear a tea dress!

    Work is almost over! Phew!
Did the dreaded work in progress figures for last month, the accountant is in on Friday so we'll see if my Uncle has changed his mind again or not. Made it perfectly clear I won't be doing it again if he has though.

    Mini list for tonight!

    - Look at bank balance through fingers
    - Walk the pooch
    - Have a bath after tea
    - Tidy room

Have the morning off tomorrow, so I'm going to get up early and hopefully be productive. Will post a list then though.

    Hi People :)

Forgot to post a list this morning didn't I?! But I did get everything done. Just don't have the joy of ticking it off a list! :(

Had a walk into town this morning, didn't mean to buy anything I just wanted to get out of the house. Anyways, I ended up in the Supermarket and spent £6.09. A mixture of things for dinner, a body scrub my sister has been after and some reduced sticker stuff.

Feels like I'm having a majorly spendy week, feeling like a rotten MSEr! But checking my banking I might be able to put £20 into my laptop account before I get paid so I haven't been *too* bad. I know I said it last week but I will do better next week.. Moving my spending diary from online to a little notebook though, so I might not be posting that on here anymore as tbh, I was getting pretty lazy with it! Will keep this diary going though while I'm saving for the laptop. It is a good motivator.

Also, totally not MSEish, I've noticed how rotten my skin has got again :( I started wearing foundation again which I think might be the problem, so I'm going to ease off it for a couple days and see how it goes.

Sounds like a really nice little break away! I love camping. Whereabouts are you in the country Flower?

Im in the Midlands - i've never really 'done' camping properly before, but OH assures me it will be great and i will love it. Was doing a bit of research and found Wigwams - anyone ever seen/stayed in one? I would put up a link but i dont know how so you'll have to google!

ETA: Should probably add i am referring to the modern versions that are around! Seem to be quite popular in Scotland.

Cinny - i seem to be having a spendy week aswell, but have been through everything and it is all stuff we have needed, seems that all our toiletries etc always seem to run out in the same week, so had to take a trip to Boots.

I like the look of wigwams, but I really want to go stay in a Yurt! You get a little stove thingy and floor cushions, totally hippy-goodness for a week! Its what I want to do for my holiday next year, but it depends where me and OH are moneywise next year. Which, knowing our luck *rolly eyes*

Tete - I was really pretty scared when I looked at mine :o It wasn't too bad though, I'll keep my fingers crossed for yours!

Feeling in a much more sparkly mood today. Got an early night last night, and woke up to Pan au chocolat for breakfast :) Plus I'm wearing one of the dresses I got on Monday, which is very floaty and spinny.

Anywho, I worked out this morning that since I started this diary I've got my monthly bills (DDs ect) from £79.50 to £21. Which I'm pretty chuffed with.

Also over the past 2 weeks my weekly needed payments on the laptop account have come down from £15 to £13.50. Still feels like I have miles to go on it, but I'm getting there.

Gearing myself up on energy drinks and coffee today. I've been feeling pretty drained the past couple days and it seems to be doing the trick. Could do with cutting down actually, before I start bouncing around.
