Noooo don't do it! Everytime you start something it vanishes!I need to get more Clubcard savvy, I haven't really had much in the way of vouchers recently, I used to get about £20 a quarter, now I get about £2.50 if I'm lucky!
I've decided to convert my clubcard vouchers into Goldsmiths vouchers so I can get my wedding ring for 'free' so now I have something to work towards I might be a little more into collecting points! My biggest problem is that I don't have a local Tesco so I don't do my shopping there and it's too out of the way to pop in to take advantage of 'loopholes'. I might have to look into online food shopping!
Goldsmiths are REALLY expensive, before you do this check you're not better off using the vouchers for meals out, aa membership etc and saving the money to buy the rings somewhere cheaper too.Birdie - The guy I work with at the Office with just gets his clubcard points from shopping and petrol, and manages to have a holiday in France each year (with his wife and 2 kids) on it so they must add up quite well without using loopholes! My 'local' one is about 10 miles away, so pretty useless for shopping. But the plan is to do any online offers, get OH to fill up at Tesco garages when he's near one and collect cans so when we do go we can cash them in there. It's only 1p for 2 cans but that goes up to 4p on rewards - right? Still, even 1p for 2 cans isn't too shabby, normally just take them to the recyling bins in town!
You're lucky to have a recycling machine near you, Tesco haven't put any within about 100 miles of us!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That's nice! :rotfl:
But kind of true, minus DooYoo!
I'm pretty glad I've got one of those recycle thingys near me. I remember reading about a couple who paid for their honeymoon by using it so there's hope for a couple trips out on it! Already have a couple cans (yay for my diet coke problem!) and have a little recycle bag for them.. so it begins!
Thanks Wendz - the pooches did enjoy their walkies! Only did a 30 minute walk, but they got a good run in there. Tesco is terrible for me clothes wise, so many pretty things and so cheap! They also do much better offers than my normal supermarket on tolietries so I get really sucked in thereWas quite proud today, almost bought some shampoo that I used one summer (the smell reminded me of music festivals in Holland!)which was on offer but I resisted. Just mentally pictured my backlog of toiletries and carried on. Like a super-trooper!

We went to Tesco yesterday to get some baking stuff - came out £65 lighter with lots of champagne glasses, pillows, blueberry and raspberry plants, 12 slot cupcake tins and the like!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Morning :hello:
Just a quick post, as I'm doing the housework ect today so need a to get a move on!
First off, got 70p on the scratchcards today. Yay!
Also got an email from MusicMagpie saying they'll be sending my cheque out. When I get it I'll be cashing in my Tescos refund cheque too. So just under £20 going into the Laptop account when it all clears.
Annnnd, my Dad and Uncle have been talking and they've decided give me a £40 p/m petrol allowance :j Most of the lads use the work vans to drive too and from work so it's only 'fair' Just need to past my test now! Which I'm actually really scared to book
Dinah - Sounds like you got some pretty stuff though! My Mum is like that sometimes, will go out for something and come back with just about everything!

Only happens at Tesco though! I never get tempted to come back with stuff from Morrisons! I've vowed to do all my shopping online once we get the house, keeps me out of trouble.
This arrived this morning. We have no sofas for our house or beds, but hey, its pretty!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Getting the important stuff first I see
That's really cute though!
My Mum has been very lovely and told me I don't need to pay her the other £5 back for the tops seeing how I did the housework this morning. Won't complain!0 -
Good money news all over today Cinny! That's great about the petrol allowance!
That's a pretty cushion Dinah! I'm not allowed to buy any more cushions as we're apparently 'surrounded by useless cushions that do nothing but annoy people', I beg to differ!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Since Cinny's tends to be a pretty thread, what colour would people paint the walls in a kitchen with black gloss units? It has a creamy marble floor, and isn't all that big or bright because it gets very little direct sunlight, so I don't think it could tolerate a deep colour, but I'm trying to work out what would go?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I'd stick with white or a bright but pale blue. Something that will reflect the light and make it look big and bright.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

I'd say a creamy colour ... not a lot goes with black in a room does it? Maybe a light sagey green?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
