Only half I promise! :D Saving the other half for when I'm snuggled up in bed watching the Charity Gala in a bit.

    Morning!

Went onto my bank this morning and Cineworld had taken the pennies out of my account, which was kind of expected! Didn't have the money put to one side anymore, but it came out of my half of the winnings from Saturday so not too bad. Decided to send OH all the winnings after that, so £26.50. Seeing how it was all the horses he picked anyways *ahem*

Got 10p on todays scratchcard too :j

Not much to do this morning, thought I'd have the housework to do but that's been done already. So just a couple loads of washing, and a bit of blogging! Have a nice morning all x

Todays walk turned into shopping.. at my Mums request mind. And you can't argue with your Mum, can you? :D

We dropped in at Tescos, mainly because I wanted to get a clubcard, and Mum wanted to do a 'top up' shop. I was meant to be good but ended up spending:

    Whiskers Pouches - £2.50
Undies - £5 (reduced, so only 50p each)
Deodorant OH uses at half price - 2x 89p

    Total Spend - £9.28

Trying to think of what I could have gone without, but they were all needed and worth buying when on offer. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Other than the clubcard and shopping, I haven't done much. I managed to get 2 loads of washing on the line, and cleaned the metal bits around the fire. Also joined Butlins Bingo for the daily scratchies, just leaving it at the two accounts now. Anymore and I really will forget.

Plan with the clubcard is to start doing the offers for extra points to hopefully get me and OH some 'free' days out over the year. Hopefully!

Good luck with it Cinny, people seem to get a lot with Clubcard offers. I'm thinking of starting the scratchies too...

I need to get more Clubcard savvy, I haven't really had much in the way of vouchers recently, I used to get about £20 a quarter, now I get about £2.50 if I'm lucky!

I've decided to convert my clubcard vouchers into Goldsmiths vouchers so I can get my wedding ring for 'free' so now I have something to work towards I might be a little more into collecting points! My biggest problem is that I don't have a local Tesco so I don't do my shopping there and it's too out of the way to pop in to take advantage of 'loopholes'. I might have to look into online food shopping!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

I've never figured out my Clubcard, i think it might be faulty, rarely adds points. Always forget, but now you've reminded me, i will have to look into it!

You always manage to get brill bargains Cinny :T

Birdie - The guy I work with at the Office with just gets his clubcard points from shopping and petrol, and manages to have a holiday in France each year (with his wife and 2 kids) on it so they must add up quite well without using loopholes! My 'local' one is about 10 miles away, so pretty useless for shopping. But the plan is to do any online offers, get OH to fill up at Tesco garages when he's near one and collect cans so when we do go we can cash them in there. It's only 1p for 2 cans but that goes up to 4p on rewards - right? Still, even 1p for 2 cans isn't too shabby, normally just take them to the recyling bins in town!

Tete - I'd say the scratchies are worth it, it's only a couple minutes of your time if that! Any 'free' money is good in my books :D

Woops, forgot while I was at Mr.Ts they had work shirts on offer - really floaty, in pretty colours and perfect for summer. Were 2 for £8 and my Mum lent me the money to buy them. Paid her back £3 today with change, and will pay the other £5 back on payday. Have £1.72 to last me until Friday now :o Have a couple 'free' days coming up. Cinema with OH tomorrow, then walking on Thursday.

Still pretty warm out, so after tea I'm going to take my dog for her promised walk as she's only had short ones the past couple days. She's 10 and only a tiny dog so doesn't need a long walk, but she really likes running crazy in the fields.

Have a nice evening everyone x

Sounds like you have had a nice day. I keep seeing really nice Tesco clothes in magazines but we don't live near one...probably a good thing!

Don't forget you get double scratchies on a Sunday as well so you get at least 80p a week.

Hope your dog enjoys the walk.
