i managed to get 4 of these tickets. the way I got them was to use 4 different cards - 2 debit and 2 credit. i registered 4 different email addresses and used 4 different names.

one in my daughter's name showed a message along the lines of Deal Won, Awaiting Approval (I know it wasn't these words but something like that). No payment was taken for this ticket.

I called the number on the website and the helpful man said to leave it for a couple of days and it would get sorted. he gave me his direct email and phone number to call him if it wasn't sorted within a week.

A few days later 4 tickets arrived in separate envelopes. I got charged for 3.

I will attempt to use them this Thursday to take the kids to Alice 3D. Do they charge you for the glasses or for the glasses and a 3D fee on top? I thought it was all inclusive.

We used ours on saturday night. Went to see Alice in wonderland in the delux room only paid 80p for the 3d glasses, you can take your own but these were proper plastic ones not like the cardboard ones so i felt they were worth it and you keep them of course.

Wish i had bought more of the tickets now. Fab bargain.

There should be no 3D fee to pay as these tickets include 3D (as detailed on the back). You will have to pay 80p for 3D glasses but you can keep them for next time (they are durable). But if you think thats 80p for all your 3D viewing. Plus think of the people who have paid £10 each to get in and then get an 80p charge!

I took my daughter to see Alice 3D on Friday with two tickets and Cineworld tried to charge me the £2.10. I argued that the fee was inclusive and directed her to the back of the voucher.

If anyone else experiences this problem Cineworld have a code on their computer system for CityDeal. The girl serving me called her Supervisor who instructed her to use said code.

Took the wife and kids to see Alice 3D last night. I was fully expecting a big argument over the 3D fee not being included, them not having seen the vouchers before etc.

After waiting for 15 mins (!) in the queue for tickets, the girl on the desk issued our tickets no questions asked. We would have had to pay 80p each for the glasses, but we already had some from a previous visit. £4 spent for >£30 of cinema tickets. :)

I took my 10yr old to see Alice 3D on Monday, went in about 15minutes into the trailers there was no que but the guy did try to charge us for it being a 3D film. I turned the voucher over and pointed out where it says 3D movies are included. He went out back to talk to his superviser and came back within a minute and put it through for free :)
    Brilliant deal!
