insomniac - well it wasnt very :money:
It is £60 to hire. It will arrive a few days before wedding and we send it back after - delivery is £12.99 or if you live near where it is you can go and collect for free.
If you look at the pics you will see the hot pink one we are having
I wanted something thats lockable as we have asked for dollars for our honeymoon so didnt want cards laying around etc. So this is perfect :T:heart2: Got Married on 30/4/11 :heart2:

We've asked for money towards the honeymoom too so something a bit sturdier sounds good. Thanks for that!0

MM2b-I don't believe it! What are the chances?! I like the postbox, such a clever idea.
Well we've had our shopping spree at John Lewis, we were there for about 4 hours and I reckon we've got hopefully a good range of gifts to suit every budget-including the 40" plasma tv that the H2b insisted we put on the list!! I did get my own back by putting a GORGEOUS bright pink kitchenaid mixer thing which is £420! Not sure that will go!! It was fun, but hard work finding enough things that were at reasonable prices so everyone feels comfortable with the costs..0 -
hi everyone.
hope you are all doing ok!
Not been around much to write back but have read posts. so hope everyone is doing ok.
I cant believe how close its all getting now.... i feel very very unprepared!
BM dresses are perfect!! few moans from certain BM but all ok in the end.
FG dresses arrived - little one tried on and fits perfectly, older one not but dont live close so need to arrange time to meet somewhere for her to try it on.
Flowers are all done - just need to get certain type leaf to go with mine, but aside from that its all ok.
Wine brought from asda 3 for £10 so including corkage at the rugby club we are going to be saving £40 so thats all good!
GM shirts from mataland - all brought and nice. they have some really good shirts incase anyone looking for cheap ones, these were £7.
OH been looking at suits in various places, so will be sorting it soon.
I have just ordered my dress too from ebay seller. Bit worried as it says she is away till 9th march once i had the 'you have won' thing come up, but the out of office message says they have that turned on to ensure that you reply with measurements straight away... I not sure though, but trying keep positive. Have had enough bad dreams about it not fitting and then having to wear my PJ bottoms to get married in with a tshirt because none of my other trousers fit ok! lol. :rotfl:
Love the postbox idea - think we will just do the cardboard box option unfortunatly as cant stretch that far, but its great!!
OH stag do saturday - he very excited for it!! so am glad. am shopping with the BM for their shoes etc saturda and then sunday we all got hair/make up trial too so thats good!
hope everyone is doing ok xx:heart2:Married my Prince Charming on 15th April 2011 - perfect day!
Our little princess born 8th June - she is amazing!! :grinheart

Is anyone else on a bit of a wedding downer? I seem to be at the moment, and just feel a bit bleugh. Don't get me wrong, I cant wait to be married to my lovely husband, but its all the other stuff that it stressing me, even though we only have to sort out the flowers, my undies and jewellery.
I think I am worried about looking horrid in my dress, like a big fat marshmallow bride. Its ridiculous, I just cant seem to get myself motivated. Its not helped by comments from my Dad saying how stressed my mum is getting with all the organising she is doing. Granted, she is doing a lot, but it was her choice! I am trying to do wedding stuff, pack up a house to move, look for a new job, and work full time. I am not able to do much else! H2B is 400 miles away, one of BMs has been a bit quiet recently, and I have a wee cry near every day.
Is any one else feeling like this?0 -
Daily tears and insomnia for me. Oh and my skin looks awful and hair needs dying but I cant motivate myself to do it. Generally depressed all round this last couple of weeks.0

I'm feeling the same... although i have moments where I perk up and remember the excitement i felt at the start of planning.
But mostly just a bit stressed about little things, which I know shouldn't matter. And also getting a bit grumpy now I'm seriously sorting out changing my name - which surprises me, because I thought I wouldn't be that bothered... but feels a bit like there's two months left of being me - then I'll be someone else.I know I'm being silly really.
Maybe it's something in the air?0 -

Not silly at all, I can't wait to get married and share the rest of my life with H2B but I am getting major wedding nerves over the fact I will be losing my name, it upsets me so much it makes me cry! I absolutely love my surname, I think its because we are the only family with my name in ours and surrounding counties, and me and DD1 are the last to have it in our family, so when DD1 gets married she will also lose the name and it will b gone forever! Such a scary thought! I can't not change my name either though as it hurts H2B that I won't take his name. So I guess I have to suck it up and adjust!!Total Debt at LBM - £19107.03Total now - £11091.220
