Thanks aarchk, I think it will be fine, was feeling just a tad sensitve with everything going wrong at the weekend.... and I can't believe we are arrival drink twins Bellinis are lush aren't they

Ladies how many are people having to the day doo... think we have a lot tbh it will be 84 at the last count....

Hi All,
Becks-we're having just under 90 to the day doo. Don't panic about your dress, you have loads of time, alterations can be done quickly when needed!
We (I!) designed our evening invitations yesterday, I was going to buy card & ribbon etc and make them, but then I thought of vistaprint, and now we have 100 invites being shipped to us for the princely sum of £6 postage! It's mad that that is the cheapest way to do it!
My pal came down and we had wedding talk overload, it was ace! I'm also really excited about the flowers, they are going to be every shade of pink with some pale yellow and greeny stuff in them, the button holes are going to be bright pink gerbras-I love it! I'm not really a pink person, but I'm hoping it will look really striking!x

ooh pink and yellow sounds fab! I have yellow tulips and pink roses mixed with other flowers in my bouquet, I wasnt sure if the pink and yellow would go together but I love it and everyone has commented on how 'happy' the colours are together. I also have blue irises and mixed colour freesias so will be very unusual band hopefully very springlike.

Unfortunately it now turns out the church we are getting married in have a floral display of Arum lilies which churchgoers can buy. I really dont want these visible in the church during the service (I HATE lilies with a passion and they wont look good with our flowers) but the lady who does the church flowers is really set in her ways and insisting they cant be moved. MIL2B is doing all the flowers so am leaving her to deal with it, she knows how to tread carefully round these types! OH cant understand why the church lady is being a pain about moving - he keeps going on about how much we are paying to have our wedding there (about £1k!) and that they should do what we want. Guess it will sort itself out.

We invited 91 adults and 16 children to the day with an extra 10 adults to the evening. Still lots of RSVPs missing but I think we will be 84 adults and 15 children with an extra 6 people in the evening (mostly though who work on saturdays and cant get time off). I think its a nice number and more than enough for the evening barn dance.

Ooh my numbers are sounding quite small now! We're having 70 of which 10 are children/babies.
Love the sounds of pink and yellow - cheers me up just thinking about it
This has reminded me that I need to book in with my dress shop to try it on again, make sure it still fits - I've been putting it off because I'm so nervous about it, what if I don't like it anymore? What if my shoes/accessories don't match? What if it doesn't fit?
Is anyone else finding it difficult to sleep at night? I have so many wedding thoughts and worries going round my head!

We're having 60 plus 7 children to the ceremony and meal and about 150 ish all in to the party

I think we all have those worries about our dresses FlowerPower! I did a 400 mile round trip this month because I was desperate to check the accessories and fit of my dress. 1st fitting on 19th March... eek!

I need to get my dress back from OH's grans house. Hope its not too big as I've lost weight since I bought it. I got it custom made and don't really want anyone else to touch it! It should be OK with it being lace up at the back

I have sorted out the last thing that was bugging me - the flower girl dress.

We have also decided on table names - naming each one after a current squad member of OH's fave football team

as much as i love my mum and grateful for what she has done towards the wedding but she is doing my headin!!! Without consulting me first she has only gone and sorted out menus for our tables when i have sorted them myself. I have sorted them to match my table names and wishing well sign but now she has bloody sorted them herself to match my invites. I am so angry with her right now!!! I have wasted my money which could have gone on something else like my bridal underwear which i wasnt getting because of the shortage of cash. Its like its her wedding and everything has to be done her way.
