Hello ladies,

Sorting out chair covers next weekend, and still need to get my wedding ring, got OH's last year in Rome.
We get married on 15th April (less than 15 weeks- scary and exciting stuff!!!!)
Hope you are all doing well with your planning :-)

Well I've just signed up to Zumba classes for the next 6 weeks, so that takes me to the week before my last dress fitting. I'm hoping that this'll give me enough time to shed some inches, so the dress looks as nice on me as it does on the models in the pictures. They are doing the bodice fitting part at the next fitting.
I'm trying to convince some of my friends to join me, as the classes look really fun on youtube, and at only £21 for 6 sessions, I thought they were quite good value too.
Lavendyr I can see what you mean about them being a bit cheesy (some of the ones I've read have been awful). I'm not too worried about the poem part, but just wanted something a bit more interesting than the standard invitations.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
I'm planning on checking out my local Zumba class on Monday. Don't really know what it is but need to loose some of the Christmas cheese weight. Had a christmas wine and cheese party which was very MSE with the kg of stilton I managed to buy for a fiver from Adsa. Unfortunately I'm so tight (refusing to throw any food out) and have been eating cheese for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not good.0

Oh, does any one have any recommendations for cheap bridesmaid dresses? I've just tried to read back through all the posts- sorry if i missed something. Has anyone had any luck/heard reviews about the ebay sellers who ship over dresses from china? I've gone for a blue theme. asking my 4 adult maids to choose blue dresses but only 1 has managed to, so looking for 3 other complementing dresses. Have looked on most of the high street shops websites and there aren't many blue bridemaidy dresses, think they still have all the winter collections.
Happy planning.0 -
Hi ruthybee - your post about the cheese made me laugh - do you know what I had for lunch today? Half a tub of cheese and chive dip with leftover tortilla chips from the new year party we had. :rotfl:I've just got half a tub of tsatziki to use up tomorrow if I'm not working.
My OH can eat the crisps that we've got leftover.
Have a look on this thread about turquoise bridesmaid dresses. I posted a few ideas on there with varying budgets. Some of the dresses posted come in blues that are darker too - I think it was coast, oasis and monsoon that had the most blue dresses.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
Morning everyone
Well i've had quite a productive few days on the wedding frontI can now check off my list
Cake - spoke with my friends mum who is making it and confirmed details of the layers and max price, here it is
Max price of £285 for (largest first) fruit, victoria, chocolate and carrot cake. She will also be setting the cake up for us at the venueShe's already started making the flowers too
DJ - Sorted, just to pay the deposit today once I put our saved cash in the bank!
Rings - Ordered and paid for on Sundayand both under budget, even if OH's was only 1p under lol
Vicar - Finally got hold of him!! He's agreed to the change of time, so we are confirmed for 1pmnow just need to sort out our banns
Menu - Our menu is now complete as we finally got a list of teh veggie options. We have chosen a Woodland lasagne. Not sure how to word it on the invites though!
Invites - Well now I have the veggie info I can get on with these, I aim to be able to post these Monday morning!!
Younger BM dresses - Found some I like which is a start, but then debenhams put them in the sale with only a few £ off and my sizes r now out of stock and they didnt have any in my local store Sunday
Hair - Found a hairdresser local to my mum and they have said they will charge £10 to just curl my hair and £25 for an up-do. These r the same prices for the trials too, so I think thats a fab priceGoing to send my mum there to book us all in for a trial
ummm I think thats it for now!! Still trying to sort the wedding website out, and I have started pestering OH about sorting the suits! I'm also popping back into the florist today to order the thank you bouquets for the mums so that only leaves the male gifts to sort
Hope everyone is ok and not panicing too much as we all start to be under 100 days to go!! Just 94 days left hereTotal Debt at LBM - £19107.03Total now - £11091.220 -
invites finally designed and sorted, just need to get ink to print them out and glue to stick them together. have set a deadline of they have to go out by Jan 15 for April 30th wedding. H2B has insisted on an early RSVP date of 5th march though (I though end of march would be better), anyone got any thoughts on this???
ordered some shoes at 11.55pm on monday night from debenhams website before the prices nipped up, fingers crossed they fit and are right height - getting fed up of looking!0
