We had a letter from our Vicar yesterday asking us which "marriage preparation" class we wanted to go to in the new year! It made me very excited! April is suddenly feeling very close!
Hopefully over the Christmas break we will put together the invites and if I'm really organised (me? :rotfl:) then we will give our invites out to all the rellies when we see them over Christmas (save on postage :money:)

Im back!!!
Anyone notice I was gone?? Ive been crazy busy at work as Ive been given a promotion :-) Just waiting on my payrise to see how much it is, should help with the wedding!

Booked my hairdresser
Invites being printed as we speak.

Lost a bit more weight where I was ill last few weeks too which has helped!

Well done on the weight loss Mrs Moore. Think I've probably put weight on! Still, I look at it that if I eat the chocolates this side of the new year, I'll still have a couple of months to lose the weight again after the new year. Nothing further happened at this end (Moon has looked at the guest list and reckons that half his work people won't come, and we're already short on guests now, so we'll have to think further).

i am feeling awful ( have been unwell since the weekend and it doesnt seem to let up. Going to try get a doctors appointment tomo or least go to walk in centre.

Finished work yday, even though i didnt go in: but had a baby appointment and got to hear heart bear properly and H2B was there as well, wish could taken a picture of his face, he looked so proud!
have had bit of a productive day today... 2 xmas cakes baked and cooled, all invites made too!
am so glad to have got them done now! Did nifty bit of scanning and printed some off of publisher on the greeting card bit for some evening guests... didnt want to go and buy whole packs of cards/invites/toppers etc again - so saved some money this way! They look ok Need to find my address book and write those to send, and we are also going to give some out over weekend when see family to save postage!!

Any of your OH's sorted their stag do out? mine has been emailing his best man a bit recently about it all - he is getting excited!

Hi Curlylou, my H2B has sorted his stag do already. Everyone has booked and paid for. 10 of them are going to Cardiff Fri - Sun. Its a lap dancing club fri night (hmmmmmmm) paintballing on sat, club entry sat night and go karting on the Sunday then home.

Course you can Fly!! I read about your wedding nightmare, so sorry to hear, at least you got married, and this way you get 2 weddings!! xx

EEkk, just think, in 3 and a bit days time, our weddings will be THIS year! That gives me a wee palpitation thinking about it if I am honest!

I need to get back into gear again - have loads of to do
1) get my bouquet sorted. Had my heart set on a wire and crystal one but now I am not so sure!
2) get a hairdresser sorted for us all on the day
3) same as above fo make up
4) get chocs ordered for guest bedrooms
5) plan menus - am meeting the co-ordinator in Jan so that will be done then
6) apply for my passport in my married name!
7) seriously get back on the diet - have totally fallen off the wagon, so am going to start making an effort in the new year - really need to start taking better care of my hair, skin and body too, so I am in tip top condition! Got loads of products for xmas so will be using them, and recently discovered Liz Earle shampoo and conditioner (free sample w/voucher!), and am amazed at how good my hair looks, so am going to ebay some stuff so that I can buy the full size!

We have just spent the entire day doing our invites. I'm knackered now but boy, feels good to have it out of the way.

Book hairdresser and decide style
Same for make up
Go for fitting when dress arrives
Decide on final numbers for reception drinks
Send invites
Get underwear for dress
Get BM shoes
Decide on table names
Get basket for flip flops
Design all table names, table plan etc and send for printing
Decide on entrance music and anthem
Learn our first dance!
Playlist for meal
Decide if im having greeting line
decide wine
Presents for BMs, ushers etc
Entrance music when we arrive at venue
what pics i want
Spk to vicar about church flowers
Decide on non religious reading and who is doing it
confirm all bookings

I could go on!!!
