Hi All,
Is anybody buying their invitations? I don't have a creative bone in my body!
I also am struggling to find MSE bridesmaid dresses in navy. Any ideas?
Mrs Moore To Be - I re-joined slimming world. I lost 5.5lbs in my first week and weigh in is tomorrow. I think I will have gained as I fell of the SW wagon at a wedding and child's party this weekend.

Mrs Barnes I bought my invitations - I went to Homesense and bought lots of pretty notecards, and will print the insides and stick them in. I bought the beautiful blossoms cards as there are 20 in a pack and will go with our theme - pink and flowers.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

I wasn't orginally going to make my own but could not find anything to suit our theme! Certainly wasn't going to pay someone else to custom make them at over £1.50 each!
I bought some black card blanks and matching envelopes and am just doing slightly scrunched squares of tissue paper, red then smaller black on top, then red again, then black again with a little paper red rose on the top!
Printing the inserts then glueing them in, simples! 30p each, if that!
Got my free vistaprint postcards as RSVPs and free rack cards as guest info sheets.0 -
csh- love the mini moon website. Makes me want to go on holiday- now!
I think it would be fine to send in october but imagine you would get replies faster if send them out later. I'm planning on sending mine out either with xmas cards to be MSE, or in Jan as I agree that January is a rubbish month and they might be better received than amongst lots of crimbo cards. Probably overthinking things though, as wedding invites are nice to get in the post any time, especially compared to bills.0 -

Hi well I have to say that I was really worried that I wouldn't be able to get the wedding sorted in time for April 16th our preferred date but it is all falling into place. The church has reserved the date and the minister sounds lovely. The hotel is holding the date for us and I just have to call on Monday and pay the deposit. The price includes a disco but I would like a ceildh band so need to find out how much extra that would cost. My parents came down to see me this weekend and we found the dress. Still can't quite believe it!
Thinking about colour schemes now. The wedding will be in Scotland in April and my side of the family will be in kilts. Had thought about blue dresses for my bridesmaids as they suit that colour. No idea about flowers however. Does anyone know what is in season then?MFW 91 op 2014 £410/1000
MFW 91 op 2015 £4051/4000
MFW 91 op 2016 £4040/4000
MFW 91 op 2017 £812/45000 -
Our Ceilidh band is about £550 if that helps
But I got quotes ranging up to £900 (depending on the size of the band mainly).
