Had a very fun night last night - got my bridesmaids round and started sorting the hen do! Emails sent out so just waiting for the responses so it can all be booked :j

Also met my make-up lady last week just for a play to see what style of make-up she does and loved it! Just need to book in my trial now, was thinking next March. Anyone else know when they're doing theirs yet?

Hi Mrs Moore To Be,

I tried slimming world and lost 8lbs in week one and then made me really ill. I have some tummy problems and struggle with too much meat, fruit and veg!!

I am still struggling with reasonable bridesmaid dresses!! They need to be navy and i just can't find anything I like!!

Also I think horse and carriage man is going to get the heave ho with a boot up the bum!! So unreliable and can't stick to a meeting!! Does not bode well for the day.

Does anybody know what this church flower/ lent thing is about? Excuse my ignorance!!

Many churches won't have flowers in church during Lent as it is a sacred time - leading up to Jesus's death & resurrection.

This is why we are getting married the week after Easter - it is a joyful time in the Christian calendar, and as a bonus, the church window boxes will still be well stocked with lovely flowers

8 months til my big day! Eek! Got a few things to sort for it this week, mainly hotel rooms, and designing our actual invitations!

We have our bridesmaids dresses! Woohooo, we went with a forever yours dress, all three wearing the same colour. Our scheme was pink and black but we dont yet have any black, the dress that we tried on the girls was **** and was sooooo pretty so we are going with that colour and changed our scheme to pink and ****! Which is great as I secretly wanted OH to have a **** suit!! x

And I thought I was ontop of things! Met a couple at a wedding on Thursday who are getting married next September and they've even got the hen weekend booked!!
H2B needs words with his best man to get the stag do up and running lol


I've booked my photographer Am delighted! She is just starting out in weddings and we have a great deal of 5hrs wedding photography, mainly reportage with a few family shots then 2 hrs of photobooth in the evening for £400! I'm paying her £100 travel expenses too as she is coming quite far but I had a really good feeling about her

Made up a sample day invite yesterday too. Had no choice other than to make my own as it seems deep red and black isn't a popular wedding theme! Imagine! lol

Just a few bits that I have picked up in the last week or so.

I have picked up some place/ name cards from the pound shop that are quite nice.

I went into Asda yesterday and there were little gift boxes. Black and pink with a box on reduced to 50p each!! I bought 4 to put my bridesmaids bracelets in. Bargain.

Also I found this link on one of these forums for anybody interested;
