    Hi Ladies,
B2B24-tell us more about your hen doo! I am getting SO excited about mine this weekend!
I've just booked my appointment for my final fitting for my dress, I can't wait to see it! Although I'm going to make the dress shop hold onto it until nearer the day though so a)the H2b doesn't see it and b)I don't get tempted to try it on every 5 minutes!!

Thats a good idea Magicboo. I had my first fitting on saturday and was dreading the seamstress doing it all quickly so I had to collect it early in April as there wouldnt be enough time to take it to my parents in Norfolk and then get it back again for the wedding. As it is my next fitting is 8th April and theres another one after that so hopefully I can get her to keep it till the week of the wedding!

Just started handing out the evening invites - all 10 of them. No RSVP as we are not providing extra food for them. Currently at 82 adults and 14 children RSVP'd yes for the day.

I hadnt bothered to sort a car out to get me to church, I wasnt fussed so long as no one from H2Bs family were driving (we are using a family car to go between wedding and reception). I just didnt want anyone from his side to see me until H2B can see me walking down the aisle. I had told him a work colleagues dad was driving me - a complete lie but I really didnt want the FIL2B to insist on collecting me. Anyhow after lots of ringing around and some ridiculous quotes I have found a local taxi firm who are sending over an S class mercedes £25 for just the journey and an optional extra £25 for ribbons and chauffeur uniform (& complimentary drinks and nibbles!). Have gone for the £50 option. Unfortunately the car is black but I figure no one will be seeing me in it anyhow.

One less thing to worry about! Hope everyones plans are going well.

aarchk thats really helpful - my family are going on and on at me about getting a car which I am totally not bothered about. the journey from the church to hotel is less then 10 minutes and i do not want to spend the money on a fancy car! however, i hadnt thought of a local taxi firm so that could be an option - i will start searching!

Well, managed to let down the little bit of sewing on my underskirt on my dress as pointed out by the loverly Leanne and didn't wreck it :) I adore my dress and CANNOT wait to wear it!! Soon as I get paid its going to be cleaned !!

Then last night I printed some of the table names off and cleaned the case we got to hold gifts and put the hotel stickers on last night and I have to say it looks superb!! Thanks soooo much to Insomniac for the idea :)

Am now trying to organise my OH's stag as bless him hes been feeling really under the weather and how he always comes last with people (not me just his mates). so I got straight on the poota and emailed all his mates to ask who can get down for a stag doo as they all live all over the place.

He was also so upset that his dad and brother wouldnt be down the night before for a drink. So am going to have to tackle that soon :(

A few last minute decorationy things to do and we will be about there although still have to sort flowers and DJ and let the organist know the songs...hmmmm maybe not so done as I had thought... oh and wedding programmes to write and print, and menus to write up and print and evening nibbles to sort...oh !!!!!!.... *mutters to herself head bowed as she leaves the room...*

Had what I thought was my last fitting on Sunday, but turned out that the straps being added have altered the shape a bit, so it needs bust darts adding as there were gaps at the sides. I've paid for everything though now, so that's one less thing to worry about, but we still haven't heard when Moon's suit will need fitting yet so getting a bit anxious about that. We did get Moon's hair cut on Sunday though, so at least he'll have a decent style - just got to train him how to use the styling product he bought, as at the moment, he hasn't got the hang of it.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/2017
