hi girls
hope everyone is well - have just been running an event with work so been away for a week and a half and feel like i have totally neglected any wedding planning! am pleased to be able to get back into it this week. our wedding organiser at the hotel has also just told us that she is going to thailand for a month and wont be back until the week before the wedding! there are other wedding organisers at the hotel who can look after us but have been working with her all along so would have preferred her to be there. but oh well, we are going to try and meet her this week so that we can as much sorted as possible before she goes
had our first banns read at church on sunday - we regularly go to the church and know the vicar well so he decided to call us up and make us stand at the front of the church whilst he read them out! so felt a bit silly but was nice as we had loads of people coming up and congratulating us afterwards
also went to meet our photographer on saturday for a pre-wedding shoot - was nice but felt a bit weird - am not really keen on any attention (which i guess i'll need to get used to for the wedding!) so it has made me think about what i need to do - have pm'd becks for the photography tips too!
feel like i've got loads of little bits to sort now and dont really know where to start! fingers crossed ill get back into the swing of things this weekWins so far - £50 Faith voucher, Lindt chocolate box worth £30, Nail Varnish, BookHuge thanks to everyone who posts competitions

Its hilarious, Stacy is being all bridal and teaching her the left, together, right, together way of walking to slow her down then Nessa just absolutely bowls doen in the most masculine way possible and is just like 'well, I'm just getting for a to b innit'
But I have to admit I'm defo more of a Nessa than a Stace!0 -
not bothering with table trivia but I was think of doing a type of pass the parcel for the tables. Wrapping a few chocs up in different layers with things like 'who is the youngest at the table' who has known the groom the longest type questions to get people talking.0

becks, thanks for the tips! no claw hands for me!!
We've got these for each of the tables: http://www.play.com/Gadgets/Gadgets/4-/15116825/Mensa-Pick-Up-Puzzles-Wooden/Product.html
We're doing a little sheet to go with them which explains the details of the 'wedding puzzle challenge' (basically whoever finishes them first) and the winning table gets a couple of bottles of champagne and some chocolate.
Hoping that should get them all working together!0 -
