Wow B2B24, ur hen nigths look fab. Mine is on Friday!! I have no idea whats happening though! All I know is I'm being picked up at 1ish and that I needed a 50's outfit! OH's "hag do" is Saturday night, he doesnt want a stag go and is only willing to go out if I go too
I really don't wanna go, I feel it should be his night with the lads, but all he wants is to go for a meal with me, best man and his W2B, then go for a few drinks somewhere and a few of his mates join us, with their partners if they want! Bless him x
Well I have just been to the bridal shop and have tried on my altered dress. fits lovely and we have now brought it homeso thats another thing sorted and at my mums ready! Might need to get a slip or something for underneath as at the back u can clearly see my underwear!!
Just 17 days to go now!! Been sorting the order of service and table stationary too so hopefully with 2 weeks to go I should have very little to do! My mum has just mentioned witnessess to me, now our vicar hasn't mentioned anything about this, I knew we needed some and I believed it was 2 people but my mum is sure she had to have 4! Can anyone enlighten me as to how many u do need so I can ask them!
Sounds like everyone elses plans are coming together now too. just think in 8 days we can all say we're getting married this month!!Total Debt at LBM - £19107.03Total now - £11091.220 -
Yes tell us more B2B24!!
aarchk that car sounds lovely - and a bargain too! :money:
Ive booked my final dress fittings too, wondering if I can lose 2 stone in 2 weeks! haha, dress will be fine, cant wait to try it on again.
We are picking up all of our stationary tomorrow night from my uncle. Cant wait to see the table plan, we went for this design:
So obviously it will have our names etc and we have changed some of the locations, so it shows all our stops on our honeymoon. The best bit is that our reception venue has 2 doors into the wedding breakfast room which then goes down staircases. We will have 2 table plans (one each side) and they are on pull up stands like an exhibition and stand 1.2 metres tall! At the bottom it has our wedding logo:
:j:j:j
How excited!!!! We will also pick up our table name pictures too and our pictures for the name places. Instead of peoples names actually at their seat, when they get to their table the name places are pink buckets, lined with silver tussue paper with pink smartines. Then on a rod of metal from the bottom of the bucket there is a clip with a picture of them on it. We have found some real old pics, and funny ones of all our guests!

ooh sounds exciting all these surprise hens. I have the joint hen/stag this saturday. my Bms and the mums/sisters are being pampered by an at home beauty therapist and partaking of a champagne afternoon tea. The biys are off doibng dsome go kart driving or something. Then we are all together for the meal.
The only dilemma I have is that my mum was supposed to stay at H2Bs parents on the sat night with my aunt as thery have a bigger house, the BMs will be at mine. However my mum managed to blurt lots of info about my dress out to them AND H2B when we went for dinner there last saturday after my fitting. Am so annoyed as have been trying to keep it a secret. She doesnt seem to think she has done anything wrong as I was talking about the dress but I was saying the waist has to be taken in (it doesnt so I was lying and ALL dresses have a bloody waist so nothing exciting it that statment) whereas she started yapoping on about straps and chapel length veils. I had told them it was bloody strapless and the veil was going to be a suprise. grrrrr. so am currently all tense and trying to think of a solution. Tried the old 'it would be nice if all the hens stayed at ours and you stayed at your mums' thing with H2B last night and he isnt having any of it.
any ideas appreciated, as I know I wont enjoy the weekend now?
the other news is I spent a lot on ebay this morning before leaving for work, good job too as the card lady is away for early April and I needed to get the folded card covers for my OOS.0 -
