I spent £50 on Boots triple razor blades when they were 3 for the price of 2.
Now they're 2 for the price of 1. Just call me a MoneyLosingExpert.
At least they won't go off I suppose.0 -
Have about 50 packs of bodyform in the cupboard, 15 packs of xmas cards when tesco reduced them to 1p each ditto for xmas tags and wrapping paper all 1p each!! also about 15 packets of old el paso fajita mix, when you could print out internet coupons for a free pack:j0

I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.0 -

I do this all the time - but only when the manufacturers effectively pay me to have the products.
Bodyform - oh yes, enough to last me until the menopause.
Boots toiletries - keep the family clean for years.
Surf - huge 100wash boxes with 99stains guarantee
Do you remember the Nouvelle toilet roll offer about 5 years ago? Finished these only within the last year.
Does anyone remember the ecover products about 5/6 years ago??:obuy the product and they sent you £5 in vouchers per product. I still have loads of their 79p multi-surface cleaner, 99p washing up liquid, liquid washing powder (£2) in my garage. Not even half way through all that yet.:o
OH had to put up shelves all along the garage just to accommodate them all. I must have got over £1000 in vouchers which i managed to get rid of.
OH laughs, family are ashamed but the result is a hell of alot saved!0 -
calleyw wrote:I have stocked up for years. Even when I had a one bedroom tiny ground floor flat and not a lot of cupboard space. I choose my bed because it was a pine frame so there is loads of space underneath it for storage.
And I had 4 storage boxes that went in the cupboard under the stairs for next door.
And it is amazing what fits under the sofa as well

Under my bed is where the spare linen lives, along with those of my craft items that don't fit on top of the wardrobes!!
Could only get a newspaper under my sofa!!
Believe me, every inch of my home is already storing the necessities of living, there really is no space for bulk buying!!
My home is so small I had adult sons in bunk-beds!!:rotfl:
If I could find an empty niche I'd celebrate it, not fill it.:DYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
I know the feeling churchmouse I have 3 boys having to share.14,9 and 5.Bunkbeds and my eldest has epilepy :-(0

I always buy every single can or bag of dog food they have reduced becaues my dog loves a whole variety of brands and it saves money if they have it slightly ripped, and reduce it...
The other week I came out with 3 bags of 10kg of Iams @ £8 each instead of £25 and 2 bags of 8kg Wagg @ £3 each and now my kitchen is full of dog food.
They also had some lovely oven bake korma sauces in tesco reduced to 15p instead of £1.20 yet the use by date wasn't for another 2 years?! I bought 10 which i'll probably use up within 6 months.
I always buy the slightly dented tins too.. sometimes there are none for months so when there's a shelf full of dented tins i buy the whole lot and run out of space0 -
That's an added problem fluff, makes things even harder I would imagine. I'm down to 2 at home now so single beds and a bedroom each. But still every inch of their bedrooms filled with something!!You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0

RoCas wrote:I don't usually go that mad but a couple of months ago or local Somerfield were doing whole frozen ducklings cheap and I bought 6.
When the checkout girl asked me what I was going to do with all those ducks I told her I was going to take them to the park and teach them how to fly :rotfl:

I like that!0
