I have bulk bought for free bodyform ..i have over 100 packs....at the begining of the year they were on offer in boots for 99p a pack, but they had a £1.00 coupon on them...and there was a loophole in boots where if you bought 10 packs and a pack of chewing gums you ended up only paying 22p as they also took the penny off ...and on top of that if you spent £10.00 or more you would get a £5.00 voucher to spend on certain beauty products.. which if you scouted round the store you could get items under the fiver.....
so now i dont think i will ever have to buy st's again......
Have there been items that you have been thrifty about and bulk buyed or obtained.....which are stored in every spare space in the house?
It would be nice to hear other people's.... hauding habbits.......

Just before we moved house i bought loads of flour (i'm talking 20x1.5kg bags here) as they were buy 1 get 1 free and had a voucher for a free beauty treatment on them. Needless to say my friends and i looked pretty good for a while......................and ate lots of hm bread too!!!!!!!!!!!!! i still have loads.
Also got tons of suncream from Boots in the post xmas sales. For some reason they had twin packs of 200ml lotion reduced to 99p and on buy one get one free!!!!! I ordered tons online and have not had to buy any this summer
Then of course there is all the xmas cards/wrap/tags/crackers etc that I get in the post xmas sales ready for next xmas...............cost pennies and is worth loads. But where to store it so that you remember you have it and dont end up buying more??????????????????????????WW Start Weight 18/04/12 = 19st 11lbsWeight today = 17st 6.5lbsLoss to date 32.5lbs!!!0 -
Constantly! I have about 20 packs of Bodyform left and I use about 3 packs per month, I have a cupboard full of flour from when it was on BOGOF amd at one time I had 72 toilet rolls stashed away.
In the conservatory is 3 3Kg bags of pasta, 1 4kg bag of cat food and 2 hugs bags of guinea pig food. In the bathroom are 6 bottles of suntan lotion, 8 bottles of Boots Own Shampoo and more cosmetics than I can shake a stick at.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
F U Fund currently at £2500 -
Went through a phase of having dozens of always packs in the house and alldays. They were either BOGOF or on special offer. Just about down to a reasonable amount now, but did get some more the other day - two duo packs for £4:rolleyes:Comping, Clicking & Saving for Change0

Mum used to 'bulk' buy many items for her and Dad.When she had visitors a couple of years ago they cleared the spare room out. They had to move 6 pks of 12 toilet rolls, 10 pks of wotsits that were on BOGOFF (3 years before)in the wardrobe she had started to hide more BOGOFFS, household cleaners mainly.Panda xx

i'm not the only one then......2 year old wotsits.. i bet they are a bit soggy......
i have also started buying washing powder and toilet rolls (big packs ) as at the mo...my supermarket is excepting multiple money off vouchers ..and any amount... so i have started putting extras in my trolly..to stock up......not loads but.. while the goings good.....so when they change their policy....at least i have some things stocked up.......
but i must admit ..it is a bit embarrasing when guest come and they go to the loo.... and theres a huge box of bodyform.. and 3 packs of 16 loo rolls ....oh yes and the other one was the boots med..range bubble bath it was bogof in the shop anyway, plus i had some couples for the same product bogof... so basically i had 4 for the price of 1.. ok it is expensive if you bought it normally, but it is lovely uibble bath......so there is a window sill full of that as well......
what am i like ........hehehehehe.........Work to live= not live to work0 -
I have a huge stash of Imperial Leather bar soap.
There was a '6 bars for the price of 4' offer and so each time I went shopping I bought a few packs. I probably bought the last pack about 9 months ago and we are still working our way through them. At one point I had so many I could have used them to build an igloo.

I ended up with 25 packs of kleenex loo rolls, the 4 packs had a £1.00 voucher on them so i bought 30 of them,i used some of the vouchers off my shopping but then our local asda and tesco changed their coupon policy and you had to buy the product
When i was in tesco i noticed they had kleenex on offer at £2.95 for 9 rolls, next to them were packs with 3 rolls free,:j so i purchased 25 packs (12 rolls in each)and used the £1.00 off coupon for each one,so I got 12 rolls for £1.95.:j The only problem I have is every cupboard you open has loo rolls in,they are even under the beds.

I don't go too mad.
But I do have loads of shampoos etc. Which will take me a long time to get through. And be paid for via Boots vouchers from pigsback so no cost to me.
Loo rolls I tend to stock up on as well, tuna when it goes on BOGOF as it is always being used and keeps for ever.
My husband us now use to me buying extra to stock up abd buying presents through out the year. But he use to be  .
He just now lets me get on with it :rotfl:
