It's worse when it's something now and know as it doesn't get picked up on spellcheck, I was very worried for you nessie!!

Louba, there's a small age difference with me and her and a large one with me and OH, I'm hoping she's realised this isn't a fling and we are serious about each other and she doesn't want to not have a relationship with her dad over it. I think I'm just thinking too much atm and creating all sorts of things to worry about

    1) cut out refined carbs
    2) seriously limit complex carbs. you need complex carbs but go easy on them.
    3) No sugar
    4) drink water whenever possible really limit fizzy drinks (cut them out if poss) and water down fruit juices
    5) Eat lots of protein!!! fish, chicken etc
    6) increase veg and fruit but watch the sweeter fruits and bananas (you would be suprised how much sugar some contain although its natural sugar so not as bad as refined)
    7) cut down on bread!!! esp white bread (I know its a carb and already mentioned but its sooooo evil when trying to lose weight)

Exercise .......ohhh here we go you think, but wait I have a cunning plan
    1) Interval training!!!
If you are new to exercising you should start out slow. I will give you a few examples, but don't be afraid to experiment and find your own ways of creating an interval training program.
A good beginners interval training program is the walk-jog interval training. Start out with a warm up of a few mins walking at brisk pace then a 1 minute walk / 1 minute jog session and repeat for as many times as possible. As you progress, you can use a 30/30 routine where you walk for 30 seconds and the jog for 30 seconds. You can perform this anywhere. If you would like to make it a little harder, find some hills where you can perform it. Perform this routine from 2 to 4 times a week or more until you are able to progress to the intermediate level. If you find this hard not toworry ajust to walk 90sec jog 60sec.

A good intermediate interval training program could consist of a jog-run program. You can warm-up with a five minute jog and then run for 1 minute, and then back to jogging for 1 minute, and repeat for as many times as you can. When you run, you don't need to sprint, but a good run is what you are looking for. If you want to add more intensity you can do a 30/30 split of a 30 second jog and a 30 second run. Or a 30 second jog and a 1 minute run. (you be the judge if your ready for this usually not recommended unless already been exercising for approx 6 months)
high intensity is the sprint - run. Same as above really just swap run -jog to sprint -run (not recommended for you at this time)
you can also do this on the bike using same as above (which is what spinning classes are like).
It has been suggested by some studies that interval training raises matabalism for longer v's longer periods of moderate cardi.

    2) resistance training!!
Do weights at the gym or use your own body weight at home (if you want me to suggest exercises for home please shout)
This is very important esp for women. Studies have shown greater success rates with resistance training than without in women. The fact for everyone is when you build muscle mass it means your burning more energy even while sleeping as muscle uses energy (or calories to us).

High intensity interval training combined with resistance training is one of the most successful for getting quick results for both weight lose and fitness. Ensure you stretch after each workout or you could stiffen up like an ironing board.
obviously though this will only do so much if your diet is not ajusted to be healthier.

You could easily lose more than one inch in a month doing the above :D

Thank you - i am currently doing slimming world plan - lost about 4 st since october - still sticking to it as it is easy & still have a bit of chocolate so won't have to worry about binge eating!
I have lost at least 6 inches since Feb! So that is approx 1 inch per month - just need to make sure i do it this month!
I have been doing exercise classes (aerobics, body conditioning & legs bums and tums) since october aswell - now up to 3 classes a week and swimming 1/2 mile a week (one session) as well
I think work in a gym with more weight is a good idea
The at home exercises would be appreciated - for the days when i don't go to a class!

    Thanks again x

Spray tan tonight! Wish me luck :o

Gemmzie - that's fab about the dress - any pics? Oh Lexxi that's pretty awful, don't balme you for feeling that way. Glad your meeting went well, I have a friend in a similar position - she has skin like a rhino and even she occassionally gets reduced to a wreck by her new husband's daughter.
