oh no.........really struggling to sort the invites out for the wedding as I can't seem to get them right when I make them myself :(

Can anyone recommend anyone who is good at making bespoke invitations to a certain specification, of a short run of maybe 30 and who is relatively cheap please?

    Thanks in advance :)

Nunnygirl - I haven't used these people, but I have played with their design tool. If you look through this forum for invite threads you will find these mentioned.
If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.

With regards to the gift list - i put this poem on our invitations

We haven’t got a gift list for all of you to see
Because as you all now we can never agree!
But if you’d like to help us start our married life
Cash or B&Q vouchers would save a lot of strife!

Apart from MIL2B telling me to not put cash on her side of the family invitations - it has gone down well - i think!

If you wanted cash/vouchers instead - just google ask for cash instead - lots came up and that is how i found mine!

As for invitations - i done mine myself so can't help with that unfortunately!

Is that the exact wording on your invites?

Nunnygirl we haven't started thinking properly about our invitations but had checked out a few on Not on the High Street - I think some of them do a custom design but I've no idea how they compare to other prices. If you look on Project Wedding they have a section which gives pictures of flourishes which you can add to the edges of a piece of card to make your invitation http://www.projectwedding.com/wedding-ideas/flourishes I haven't tried printing them in colour so don't know how easy it is to make these look good
Mortgage as at March 2010 £225,000 target for December 2012 £170,000. Blog link http://beautifulorpractical.blogspot.com/2010/07/oh-this-is-all-new.html :j

OHNO!!! Can you get any other wedding magazines from anywhere? Or just swim anyway regardless of legs?

I have a stepdaughter, she's not spoken to her dad for months and hasn't ever spoken to me, though we have met (it's complicated). We're all having lunch tomorrow, apprehensive is an understatement!!! Oh would like her to be a BM which I'm fine with but what if there's a part of her that still resents me?

    Want to swap places Bubbles?

Lexxi hope it goes well - might be that there is nothing to worry about at all. Is she still young or old enough to be grown up enough to be sensible about it?

Yes i used the exact wording, i think it is quite amusing and my mum & family like it - shame MIL2B didn't like it but hey ho!

    4 weeks tomorrow! :o

Getting excited but a little worried as i need to loose 1 inch from my waist by then to fit into my dress properly - doesn't help by putting on 3lbs last week (hen night!) I think gym membership may be the answer! :o

Ooh, I think she was asking about the wording as there was a typo (now should be know):

Because as you all now we can never agree!

But I assume that you re-typed it for the thread rather than sent them out like that!
