I've just been told I am 'odd' As my wedding is second time around I have a 12 year old daughter from a previous marriage, and as she is a big part of our lives, we felt that as we were inviting all our friends to the evening 'do', we would let her invite two of her friends (to the evening do only) to celebrate with, as she is chief bridesmaid. However the mother of one of her friends has said she will not be able to go as, 'its too odd to be invited to a wedding' I didn't think that it was that strange???

Franny, my son and daughter are inviting 3 friends each to the evening. (parents included if they want to stay with them, I have no problem with that!)

I thought it would be nice for to them to have their friends there as I'm sure they will be fed up with having to spend the whole daytime with the 'wrinklies' :rotfl::rotfl:

Invites haven't gone off yet, but cross fingers, none of the parents have a problem with it x

Congratulations! What a bonus!! One lottery ticket each and some chocolate covered raisins for my favours!

Kidding, by the way - haven't even thought about it!!

Laura - I'm with Floss, if someone is prepared to spend time being unpleasant and bullying someone on a forum then there is something very wrong with them - which means their opinion shouldn't count for anything ;) Put them on ignore and don't let them ruin things for you. What sort of things are you putting in your bags? I was thinking about doing this for guests whoare staying over at our wedding but haven't decided what to put in them yet!

Oh that's just great isn't it ~ I'm a bully for pointing out certain posts are mean and b!tchy??

I've pointed that out twice, that's all. I would have called it, lets see....constructive critisism, not bullying.

Bit better than the venom spewed on here by Laura last night though?

And thanks floss, a mindless moron is one I haven't been called before.
