well, maybe you should know. There are people in the uk living in absolute poverty, not relative poverty, but absolute poverty (look it up) for the first time since the 2nd world war. Do you know why some of these people are living below the breadline? I'll tell you why, because corporations such as your employer are more or less running the economy, have their tongues so far up politician's backsides, control the price of a pint of milk and a loaf of bread and run small businesses out of town leaving ordinary, hardworking people bankrupt, jobless and homeless. This is happening right now, in the uk, where we all live and where the last time i checked, was not listed as a 3rd world country.
You can moralise to ordinary people getting a wee bonus when you are not working for one of the most corrupt, greedy, capitalist corporations in the world, pal. The only 'pathetic' people in this country are the ceos and shareholders whose greed is ruining the lives of others. Oh, and twits like you who are getting shafted left, right and centre for a cr*p wage while your bosses get richer by the day.

    Jog on and educate yourself.

Just out of interest, what is your role at Tesco? Can't imagine it being a highly paid position based on your apparent lack of intelligence!

    LOL!

You obviously havent met the general manager of the Lunsford park store (or Whitstable or Broadstairs for that matter) ;)
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

:( please dont tar all of us that work there with the same brush . i agree with what you say about the state of this country and i also agree that we get a cr*p wage. but what do you suggest i do ? sit on my backside and wait for someone to pay my bills for me, or get on with it and earn what i can?
we might not have the best of jobs but at least we make the effort.
i have also never moaned about any of you for getting what you can out of any companys.
so please dont take it out on me for doing what job i have to in order to provide for my children.

Hey hun, I don't think anyone is tarring everyone with the same brush, I certainly wouldn't... I've said before and I'll say again, there are lots of lovely staff... unfortunately there are a few staff who are unpleasant for the sake of it and the high up people... well... they're just laughing at all of us, including the staff! :D

You are clearly one of the lovely ones who we would all like to deal with :j:j:j

Nip down to the Extra in Romford, not been there for a while but had great fun in there in the past with the guy in charge on the electrical counter a real jobsworth if ever I met one. But to be a good jobsworth you need to know what you are doing, this guy didnt have a clue!

If you are down that way try the big Extra at Beckton too (Gallions reach? something like that) I cleared up in there with DS and PSP games 3 times in one day before, timing is the key! There used to be an incredibly grouchy woman on CS desk in there that I had fun with too.

Tesco took all the fun out of it when they did away with R&R though, I used to love going to the CS desk and saying "Just bought this game and it has a sticker on it saying £19.97 but it seems to have gone through the til at £19.99" and awaiting the usual excuses of why R&R didnt apply to 3p overcharges.

DAB radios, televisions, microwaves, loads of video games, cds, dvds, £200 mobile phone, filofaxes, noddy annuals, lots of different annuals, my little ponies, bratz sticker books, irons, kettles, toasters, printers, beef, lamb, steak ...

and anyone remember the garlic or lemon chickens.

At which stage I would point out that their maths was as bad as their attitude ;) :rotfl:
