Taiko. Just wanted to say what a great job you do here and that I am sorry that you have also had to deal with funeral arrangements.
Remember to have some time for yourself too!

Taiko Can I just say thank you for all the help you have been giving people. It really is appreciated.
Sorry to hear you have had to be dealing with funeral arrangement. It must be a very difficult time particulary with the additional travel.

    Take care of yourself

i ahve been told by SF that i am eligable for parents learning allowance so sent all my forms in but she didnt say waht sort of amount i would be eligable for.
Our household income that was provided for this years SF claim was £16500.
    Mortgage is £451 p/m
    Council tax £85 p/m
    Life inurance for 2 £20 p/m
    build contents insurnce £40 p/m
    mortgage payment protection £47 p/m

would i get the full grant or just some of it??? oh yes i ahve got 3 kids but dont need the childcare element, just wondering about the PLA

ok little confused here, people seem to be getting ok'd for the PLA that have more income than I have but I recently got told a big big NO!

household income of wife before tax was £16k with all the usual mortgage and other stuff going out etc. I was told the threshhold was £7k.

Im now on a last ditch scenario where I need the CCG or I cant afford to go. as of sept I will have 2 kids in childcare costing around £16k (just over). Obviously having 85% paid would be great, what do you think my chances are?

    Cheers:(

Post up the net income, outgoing amounts etc and I'll do a calculation.

As an aside, I'm considering asking MSE if they'd consider allowing an upload of my calculation spreadsheet for this as an amended sticky thread. Would there be enough interest?

ok wifes net income was around 12.5k, out goings of 660 pcm for mortg, plus other house bills of around 300pcm

child care costs £290 pwk minimum (£340 pwk when not on hols)

but ive been told no for the PLA as they said the most my wife could earn was 7k just hoping i get the CCG now

Need a breakdown of those other outgoings, don't just lump everything in together.

Also, are there any tax credits and child benefit? If so, what are the amounts?
