Yep, it would all be taken into account as outgoings. I'll have to rejig the figures in the morning, although I'm in and out of the office tomorrow a bit I think.

I'd upload my spreadsheet, but there's so many variables it's better to just leave it to me to do the workings.

hi hope you dont mind me gatescrashing, but i am in reciept of the childcare grant for a full time foundation degree but my payment for apr -sept is the same as jan-apr payment is this because they dont pay for all the school hols e.g aug i rang the help line up and was told i have to stretch the payments out so if i stretch the apr payment out to last unill next payment which im assuming will be end of sept or oct they are not paying me 85% which is what they did in previous terms any help on explaining this would be appreciated, thanks

Advisor was wrong, you can get payment over the summer holidays. It depends on the estimates you provided for childcare on the CCG1 form.

Yes, you'll probably need to get a new CCG1 form though, send that in with a covering note.

    Taiko, are you here?

Would you possibly be able to give me an idea if we would be entitled to Childcare grant?

H earns £32,000 after tax and NI. Mortgage is £700 a month, Council tax £170 a month, Insurances £30 a month.

I am assuming we won't get it as H earns too much. Childcare fees would probably be a £300 a week, with 2 in childcare.

    Thanks

I'll do a calculation in a few days, I'm currently away from the office on a family matter.
