All I wanted to know was if I could either start the 24mths as of now (so effectively Orange get over 30mths from me) seeing as I would be paying for the iPhone or if they would add 24mths onto the exisyting contract (over 40mths guarenteed custom).
TBF some people are not speaking sense....
If she offered to continue her current contract, and take out a further 24 month contract on the iPhone whilst paying the £89-189 for the phone, orange would be at no financial loss as she's still paying the remaining line rental for the blackberry, thus paying off the cost of the phone, she then begins paying off the iphone.... no loss.
Obviously I'm not saying she has a right to do this though, 18 month contract is just that, but it would make good business sense for orange to offer that type of option.
I'mwaiting to upgrade until the summer, to see if Ilike the new iPhone, that's what Babygirl should do.
If not, just buy one from eBay and take the bb net package off the contract, then add unlmtd net...
As people often say on here, the phone and contract are seperate, so surely orange can't refuse her a phone if she is willing to pay for it....?0 -

People are just giving you alternatives to spending money that's all as its the whole idea of the site. An iPod touch will save you more than £300! If you do get one may i suggest you do it over the internet as you can send it back if you don't like it. An iPod touch won't take up that much space in your bag and it will be miles cheaper than what you want to do.

I bought one 4 months before the 3gs last year, so if I were the OP. I would wait until June to see if there is a new one out.0
