Orange iPhone - want me to 'buy out' existing contract??

ok this is for some reason turning a bit nasty so, joking, insulting and everything else aside these are the options
1 - continue to pay for your current phone until your contract ends, then get an iphone
2 - sell your existing handset, put the profits into buying a pay n go iphone and stump up the rest of the £ and use the phone on your current contract
3 Buy out your excisting contract and start a new one. Expensive and a little excessive but an option
4 Start a completely seperate Iphone contract and pay for both concurrently. Again hugely expensive but if you *need* an Iphone I guess it could be an option
5 Buy an Ipod touch, keep youre current phone.
They're the 5 choices. The only thing I can say with certainty is you will not get out of the exisiting contract ot change phone. So it's a case of waiting or stumping up a large sum of cash unfortunatelyLBM 2 - 27.05.09. Hi,
In the past in a miss-spent youth with too much cash i used to do the following;
take out a new contract
reduce old contract to minimum
pay both old and new contract at the same time
old contract - send letter to cancel 3 months before
old contract - confirm cancellation via fax 1 month before.
The current minimum contract i can see on orange is £20 a month, and they dont let you drop straight away, so you would need to go through and ring each month (on your bill date) and reduce your line rental down a "Level"
it is an expensive way of doing it, but it means you can have the new contract running alongside and get a new phone.
Although, if it were me i would be waiting until upgrade and hope that the 4th version is out meaning the 3rd would be much cheaper
HTH

could always sign up for an iPhone, then another and another and another and then you'd be on a 96 month contract.
at least you'd have 4 iPhones thoInformation provided is offered as a guide, and should not be deemed to be 100% accurate/correct. Please verify with the appropriate company/legislation for confirmation. Always seek verification to ensure you do not encounter future problems!0 -

I'd stick with the blackberry. I also have an iphone and I can't stand it. My blackberry is brilliant its even survived a swim in the loo and still works perfectly.0

Also consider the android handsets, the cost of these is getting very cheap and they are every bit as capable as an iPhone0

Also I believe there are now more free apps on the android market than there are on the itunes appstore, although the iphone does has more paid apps.0
