Try dricking Pu-erh Tea which is one of the chinese teas and is known in China as a Weight Loss Tea.

I started with slim fast in February this year and have lost almost a stone and half.
I never have Slim fast drink from the ‘metal can’ as it smell off a metal but the plastic bottles are not too bad. Also with slim fast I found that it is better if it is chilled from fridge as warm slim fast drink will make me feel sick.
I buy slim fast from bodycare shop for 75p each during their offer period (I buy 50 at a time when offers are on).
I am hooked on slim fast now so until I get fed up of it I will continue with it.
Apart from slim fast I also do the following:
For breakfast have allbran with skimmed milk
Lunch time I have slim fast milkshake
For evening I have a proper (small) meal.
If I feel hungry in-between I will have sparkling water or go-head low fat, low calories bar.
Go to gym 4 times a week (one day toning table, another day spinning classes, and other 2 days workout on gym machines).
At weekends after gym proper house cleaning from top to bottom. And if the weather is good - gardening.0 -
i've been doing the slim fast thing for about 8 weeks now and have lost a stone and a third!
its been ok because i've been drinking fennel tea as well which curbs your appetite and i'm loving my new shape.
i was in tescos today for the first time in ages and noticed they also sell their own version 'ultra-slim'. it's cheaper than slimfast but is it as good?
the only downside i find with slimfast is i like the plastic bottle shakes (not very mse i know!) more than the powder you have to make yourself, but the 6 packs of the chocolate slimfast, which is the only one i like, are hard to come by. i am going away for a week and like the look of the cartons of ultra-slim but dont know anyone who has tried the tesco version.
anyone know if it's any good?0 -
Neither are any good.
Of course you'll loose weight, as basically you've stopped eating. You are not going to spend the rest of your life on Slim Fast though, and when you stop, it will come back plus interest.
Eat a bit less and exercise a bit more.
The only way to sustainable weightloss is a lifestyle change.
More than a 2lb weight loss per week is unsustainable.
Sorry - but that's the way it is!
(I know, I have food issues too, but a lot of cycling keeps me just on the right side of them!)How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
Have to agree with Toothsmith here. I liked the slimfast diet, I liked the shakes, but when it got too expensive OH and I just stuck to the calories - just ate the allowed calories per day, not worrying about the branded stuff. I've never been so hungry in my life! But this feeling eventually went away. And the weight came off. It would do when you're starving yourself. So our metabolisms changed to accomodate this new diet and hey presto, when we eventually returned to a healthy normal diet, the weight came back and then some. Very disappointing.
But hey, it worked like a dream at the time. You really don't need to be eating branded stuff though - just stick to the calorie intake.:wall:0 -
Compare the ingredients and the nutritional information. The brand name on the label is not the bit that helps you lose weight......0

Congratulations on your success with Slimfast Skyrocket.
I would give the Tesco's version a try if I were you as they are quite a bit cheaper. If you find it's not working you can always switch back to the one you know works for you.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -
