I've just had my first proper break since starting in the kitchen, and I've hardly crossed anything off the list. WM/TD x2 on, towels folded and put away, lunches made and eaten. All beds stripped and washing gathered.
I think I have a limited number of spoons available this weekend, which is not something I'm used to. Won't venture out as far as I'd planned and may need a nap when I get back. Tea won't be anything too complicated. Getting dressed now, then out (after I've shown DS2 a sloth on the internet).0 -

Steady, Mrs don't overdo it, be kind to yourself. By the way, research has been done and spoons have a half-life of 8 days, on reading this, I bought 48 of the devils off ebay and only have about 20 left. Why do I feel like I need a break already? Looks like this is going to be a bit of a challenge. I'll have to use toots' motto of 'head down and battle on' (or words to that effect). Either I'm still tired from the work marathon (3.5 hours sleep on Thursday night, and a major 'do' with DS1) or this bug is turning into a chest infection. Or both.
.
And you take it steady, too, please, Ishtar.Hi All
I'm back (ish). Still feeling v. weak, DD and OH have been really ill overnight and DS still has a gripey tummy. He's decided to breastfeed rather than actually eat solid food, which is probably for the best - he's almost a year, so I'll let him off.BUT I am capable of buying the correct light bulb without having to take blown ones with me, now!
Ha ha I still have to do this and sometimes I smash it!!
wm on, dw on, fire lit. Replacement pots bought for peach trees as one got frosted (frost proof my bum!).
Think that putting up new-second-hand curtains in bedroom has turned into decorating it.:eek:Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
well I have loaded TD and WM x2 and folded laundry too
also cleaned the shower and the rest of the bathroom while I was in there, the LR is nearly all picked up and looking good (ex and his OH came round and there was no where for them to sit tehehe like I care) need to hoover through and then see what else needs doing
NOTE TO SELF do the Rainbow accounts you lazy woman!!!!Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -

The boys did some bathroom cleaning but would call it 'boy' clean rather than 'Mum' clean. They are also all doing their own washing this weekend.

I have got three loads washing out, already ironed some. DS has STILL not put his uniform in the wash ROLLSEYES
and I ABSOLUTLEY REFUSE TO GO IN THERE AND GATHER IT ALL UP. So DS will have to sort the washing out himself al la Pooh house ^
I have been to the building society to see how to ensure overpayments go in, other than having to go and pay physically. Then I could transfer money over if and when.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
