Afternoon all,
We haven't managed to get any sand
. The garden centre didn't have any so we went into Town and paid 80p for parking as all the free carparks were full and went to Wilkinsons where they didn't have any either. :cool:I think it may be too early. I cheered Ds2 up by putting bubbles and food colouring into the water instead.
I've put another load of washing on the line and cleaned out the rabbits. Ds2 helped me to plant 4 types of flowers, chillis, peppers, tomatoes, leeks and aubergines. There's still more to plant but we'd been out there for hours and i needed a coffee before i make a start on Tea.0 -
I have finished my bedroom at last. It is sparkly clean again.
So that is Tuesday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing finished!!!!
I am still listing clothes on ebay. Slowly, but I will get there.
I love it that so many of you now know about spoons!

Busy, busy, busy but all in the garden. Two thirds of the veg plot has been weeded, dug over and manured by me. 'Poor' teenagers have spent four hours getting barrowloads of topsoil down two sets of steps to the front garden (petty revenege!) and even the littles have worked really hard.
Toots - hope everything goes ok next week :grouphug:
Dusty/Serena - I hope you got the chance to garden today
Tuesday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing
Thursday ~ Bathroom and WC
Friday ~ those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
All Done - stars please Toots

Valli - yes I am jealous! walking distance would be so much easier! Now I know I like walking but going into town is frankly.....boring!
Toots - good luck for next week.
I did my walk, not too far or long as I have a mountain again tomorrow (not my favourite mountain either) and need my legs to not ache!
However I did potter round the garden and tidy it up a bit. Also watered the pots as they are a bit dry.
Quite a good day!

I'm not short - I'm condensed awesome!

Afternoon all
Two loads of washing dried on the line and all put away.
We took the dog out in the car to the common so she could have a little walk round in the sun. We met a couple of other old dogs, one of which was having a rest in the sun (bad heart) and she only fell down six times. Not bad and she did enjoy it.
It was so lovely in the garden today, the sun had made the crocuses open fully and there were several bees out there with pollen all over their legs

Hi Everyone
Been AWOL since earlier in the week due to the usual work thing and the pc running so incredibly slowly. It took days to download some windows updates which are finally loaded and rebooted.
Work was work, let's leave it at that  but now it's the weekend
Miss A went on a night hije with cubs last night which she really enjoyed and they have both had swimming lessons this morning. We have just got back from dobbies, we went to look for something for Mum for tomorrow to go with the present I already have. Managed to find something and also a wind chime thingy for my sister's birthday. Kids played on the small adventure play ground and spent ages looking at the fish as well
Ruth sorry to read your news, hugs
Vanilla huge hugs coming your way for all that you have to cope with at the moment, I hope you manage to get through the next few weeks and that everything settles down soon. Great news on the CSA front :T

Mrs Chaos I have just read up on spoon theory and now I wish you really could get them on ebay.
Hugs, honey.
wm on again, bit of gardening done, one small fed, the other has had a tantrum. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
WM has been on twice, including the bedding...need to remake bed soon. Oven on for dinner and it's mainly prepped. Been to shops and got a few bits we needed, including mothers' day flowers for mil, have been round there for a cuppa and dropped them off - she was pleased.
My sister has got flowers and a cd for my mum from us both, she owes me money anyway so that's all sorted.
DH has done all the shredding and emptied the bins and recycling, I've cleaned the bathroom and folded the washing!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Sorry for being missing, over the last few days, but been busy.
Today I have just done a round driving trip of 360 miles approx. and laid flowers on my mother's grave for Sunday, got back in the car and driven straight back, near Swaffham watched a stupid huntsman (IMO) gallop his horse hard for about 1/2 mile on a tarmac road, (why on earth he didn't use the verge) what a fool, if he keeps that up he will bust its legs up, then went on to sit in traffic for about an hour owing to roadwork on the A14 and everything being diverted on to the road I was on.
Got home to find OH, had gathered all the washing up inc towels and bath mats, washed most of it, TD the clean stuff, and was putting in the last load.
He has hoovered the whole house
AND
Changed the duvet / bedding
I am most impressed.
Off to do other bits and piece, hopefully catch up with you all tomorrow some time.
