Hi all
Did you miss me? :rotfl:
Been MIA most of the week I think. Started my new course after work on Wed, it was good actually, though tiring straight after work, and I was out last night at the 21st of a girl who used to be in the youth groups I ran...she's now a youthworker herself which I'm proud of. In fact 5 of the old group were there, one is now a primary school teacher, 2 are youth/children's church workers, another who is a bit younger is at uni and one guy who has set up his own business doing conference techie stuff (he said that's all down to me encouraging him to do sound and projection at church when he was 14!). It was lovely to see them, and my good friends who are parents to my godson were also there.
Sorry that's waffle but it was a lovely evening
. and it's the weekend...
In terms of flying not loads has been done, although it was done to an ok standard last weekend. We have no real plans for today so should get some done, I'm also off work next week (dh isn't!) so will be able to do a bit a day and fly properly.

Morning all
I've been trying to wake up for the last two hours and I think I've finally done it.
I thought that work was always pretty busy, so the last 3 days have been a real shock. I logged on last night, but only read back a few pages before falling asleep on the sofa. I want to reply to so many posts and catch up properly, but the house doesn't look too good at the moment. Flying and kids will have to come first, and then there's a mountain of preparation to do for work. So here's good wishes and hugs all around, and I'm hoping to have an hour on here tonight.
Going to get my list together now and aim for at least one level in each room - ideally whittling it down to one side of A4. Must go out this afternoon (no shopping done last night) and have a bit of fun with DS2, too, as it's lovely and sunny.
Hope everyone has as good a day as possible.

In my (slightly extended) HHC I
-wrapped mum gifty
-Put on a washload
-Hung out washload and put on second
-Cleaned kitchen sides
-Made bed
-Topped up the water in my flowers
-Discovered that my sweet pea sproutlings are out growing their pot so I'll be shopping for a new one today
-Tidyed up the sofa's (so mum has somewhere to sit when she comes over)
-Cleaned the bathroom floor (coz someone through talc all over it (note - I don't have kids and it wasn't me))
Think I'll get some reakfast and indulge in a HHWP (half hour wedding planning:)) til 9.45am
See you soonNow MARRIED!11/09/100 -
Morning all
Jenny - hope DS has a lovely Day
Holly - of but the temptation to mix the sand and water never goes
Ruth - still thinking of you sweetie, I hope you at least get some time to have happy memories today as your Mum would want you to enjoy your birthday just like she did for all the others you have had xx
Sun is shining.
Stripped our bed
Tidied the garage for DS2 to play snooker
Put the wm on
Put the clothes on the airer
Going to do DS3 breakfast and then hoover our bedroom and have a shower.
SO happy the sun is shining as I have the football match to do. Might do a bit of fast walking around the field as I've not had any proper exercise in ages. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning everyone.
Lovely and sunny here today. Im going to get the bed stripped and washed while Im out this morning. Im seeing mum today instead of tomorrow. Where she is its near my voluntary job and Ive been asked to sit with a lady this afternoon. I dont usually do weekends but was asked if I would. A different ward though. Then I can chill tomorrow. GSs are receiving their compensation from the car accident soon. DD says GS2 is buying me a new kettle and toaster. I was really touched and said a box of choccies will do. They already have it spent but its on things they need they are not wasting it.
Right thats my cuppa finished. Will get the dailies done then nip out for some milk.
Toots It was a humanist service which I liked. I told DD thats what I want and she said well you can have that if I knew what it was. So explanation given while standing in the bus queue. Much to the interest of the rest of the queue.
Hugs for everyone specially Toots, Lady L and Diva.0
