Ruth , I'm so sorry to hear your news especially near Mothers' day (not that any time is easy) I lost my mum 8 years ago and although I am a mum now I still hate mothers day. Look after yourself, I hope your mum's passing was as painless as possible.Sorry, not read thread. Just popping in to let you all know that I lost my mum today, so not flying or doign anything at the moment.

Rachel wanted to send you big hugs, this must be so frustrating.i went to bed after taking my medication last night, ready to just fall into bed and crash out. DD2 had emptied all my moisturiser and make up all over my bed, there was foundation everywere so i had to strip the bed, then it was on the fleece underlay so that needed changed (lucky i had a spare) then...it was on the matress aswell. I now have a verry moisturised matress and a daughter with a sore bum... and she's getting worse
This morning she has emptied the frige, removed all packaging, placed it in the shoe cupboard and put the food in order all over the floor.
cleaned that up...went into living room
all my knitting is all over the floor (pulled off the needles) money all over the floor from the copper jar. eczema cream all in her hair, on her clothes on the windows.....I could actually cry right now.
she has the hospital this morning so were in for another stressfull day. i dont know how much of the list i will get done when i get back.Sorry i've been MIA most of the week. Things here are abit nuts at the minute and the BD has appeared. I'm stressed to the max, hubby is starting to get ill with it all. If he keeps going the way he's going he'll be in hospital by the end of the month. I just can't deal with that at the minute.:(:(

I have had a lovely day apart from having to go to the doctors as I have sinusitus, he gave me some antibiotics to use later in the week if its still there.
Flying wise I have
WM x 2
DW emptied, loaded
washed the mattress protector
changed cot bedding
did half hour of cross stitch, discovered my son has cut some of my threads so they are no longer useable:mad::eek: fortunately it was white so I have loads but he has had his scooter taken off him for a week.
I went swimming and dd went in creche for 35 mins seeing as she cried for the first 25 mins while i filled a form in and cuddled her. Was fine after i had left of course.
I feel so much better for doing things for me, nice to be selfish for a change:rotfl:
My personal list
1) make time for me, reading, allotment
7) library with kids
8) wipe buggy board down and box up for ebay
9) dig border over and bring muck from allotment so can have beans in gardenCross Stitch Challenge Member ?Number 2013 challenge = to complete rest of millenium sampler.0 -
oooohhh just went and looked at my 2 nice shiny stars - I am ridiculously pleased. Thank you.
Rachel, sorry not to have been more helpful with the safety gate, I didnt know she had health problems. She is a little minx, isnt she - and very very clever to have worked out all the angles. Some of those situations must be quite distressing for you, particularly if she starts on her tubes. Much love, and I really hope you can come up with a solution which makes life less stressful for you.
Hope everyone else is well/bearing up/enjoying a well earned glass of wine (or 3) LiloLive on £4000 a year again for 20110 -
Dusty hope you begin to make headway with the dusty dust!!!:D:p
1 step no wonder you are tired - not enough food and helping your friend move - silly person -you should have been eating - well done for helping out though and I hope your 2 'walks' go well.
hex oh honey what a week you have had - is it firing squad at dawn? I hope thats the last of your bad times for a loooooong while.
thats one of the best excuses for not flying:rotfl: thank goodness you have tiger for moral support:DNothing, because tiger is snoring on my knee and it would be rude to move him :A
liloandstitch :T:T well done on your first stars - things do get easier the more you manage to fly - and less carp is better:D sorry to read about LO - what a shame he got upset but it will come right - dont be beating yourself up - we all have incidents where we wish we had handled things differently (((hugs)))
Vanilla you sound better today honey - still got loads on your plate - the room swap sounds like a good plan if you can manage it.
boddy (((hugs))) I hope it went as well as these things can.
sandy will you stop it - you are doing better than some of the flyers with both arms working:rotfl::rotfl: and you already had 1 star so now you have 3 - please stop stressing about the stars or I will ban you from getting any until your arm is out of plaster!!!!:p I know its frustrating not being able to do things but please just potter a little bit - pretty please????
rosepink hope you are keeping the flat nice and tidy after your friends came and helped you - have you been keepimg up with the dishes?
83Rachel sounds as if there are some positives from the appointment - I am glad that the doctor appears to be wanting and willing to try things to help - hope the new sleeping medicine helps - I can understand why you cant use a safety gate so what about a lock on the kitchen door - just a wee sliding bolt out of her reach? dont know the layout of your house but I dont think it would restrict you too much if there was a fire and you needed an escape route - or maybe you have an alternative way out. just a thought that if you cant shut her in maybe you can restrict where she gets into.
pigpen are you all set for your weekend away at OH's mother's - remember you did say you would try to be nice:rotfl:
froddy how did the obs go?
I have had a very exasperating day and so thanks to Comet and the incompetent company that do the repairs for Sony products I have no laptop to take to hospital next week - so i will not be with you at all next week - but i will be leaving you in the hands of my very capable [STRIKE]accomplices[/STRIKE] assistants who will do a wonderful job:p
get well wishes to all the poorlies - hope you are all feeling abit better tomorrow.
hugs for everyone esle as it seems there are a lot of trials and tribulations around just now.
night all
see you tomorrow
toots xxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
