2. Beat rugs to rid them of muck

Tuesday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing
Level 1
Level 2
Wash windows and nets/curtains
Vacuum and turn mattress before replacing with fresh linen
Level 3
Sort one area of clothes or linen storage making sure only what should be in there is, anything that's had it's day or doesn't belong there is removed
Sort through a box or bag of stuff you've not looked at in months.. I am certain you don't need most of it

Extras

2. Make your easter plan.. How many eggs do you need? Are you doing any special foods?

4. Wipe grotty paintwork.. touch up any bits that are looking shabby

Wash light pull strings! (Painting with neat bleach works then rinse in a jug of water)
Scrub down the paintwork and radiators.. back and front!
Clear and wipe window sills and frames and make the blinds/curtains nice and clean

Extras

1. Clean out the toiletries cupboard and put back the stuff you use.. and fling the stuff you don't! Do any necessary decanting so you have fewer almost empties!
2. Replace and curly toothbrushes
3. Polish mirrors and shelves!
4. Make a note of stuff you do need to stock up.. and stuff you already have stocked up for 10 years!

Friday ~ those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
Level One
Make an appointment for some ME-time.. hairdressers? manicure? night out with friends? .. whatever just do it!
Level Two
Vacuum the floor
Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!!
Level Three
Clean 2 windows
Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers and get the clothes out which are no longer wearable, too small or out of season!
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors

2. Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames!
3. HHI
4. Mid week fling!! grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend!

Not too bad. I am shattered today, got up early and blitzed the kitchen, also sorted out a few bags of stuff. 2 lots of washing, sorted DW and then helped a friend move, well carted boxes of things from house to van....van to new house!
My energy has now gone and I've just realised all I have eaten today is a small banana.

The "me" time will be collapsed in front of the telly and an early night. Got 2 large-ish walks this weekend so hoping the rain stays away!

Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers and get the clothes out which are no longer wearable, too small or out of season! I know the clothes are all OK, so I re-organised the recycling etc. (bag for shreddings, another bag of stuff for textile bank, batteries for recycling, old Brita filters, bag of candleholders to go to next Moot for bring'n'buy table etc. all kept in spare room) so that it's all in a plastic crate and tidy.

RESULT! :beer::j:T:grinheart:xmassmile:dance:_party_:EasterBun DD is off out with friends to celebrate their AS results and DS has been invited to ski with a friend to celebrate the friend;s birthday. DH and I have an unexpeted evening to ourselves :kisses2:

I've have a lovely afternoon eating cake, drinking tea and gassing with friends. The fire is lit and I have a Lily-Flame candle going (they're much better than Yankee, sorry ).

Off to tidy round and plan supper

My first 2 stars ever, I am amazed and delighted. The house looks delicious! Once the rest of the decorating is done, I can probably achieve more but we have tons of c**p everywhere at mo!

Toots your right i'm over tired and just stressing too much, hubby has agreed for the kids to move into our room and us into theirs. We have to move in there anyway so the sooner the better. We won't need to paint the room then as we can say the boys choose it.:D

liloandstitch yep it's the whole house, all new doors coming in 2 weeks so more dust. Every room needs something.:mad:

hex when we rang a few days ago they said a letter had been sent out a couple of days ago. We still haven't got it so i'll be ringing again on monday.:mad:

Rose we have a contractor who is doing DD's room and then we need to find people to do the rest. The person fitting the kitchen is having a rough time with his son so he hasn't been out. The sparky is a friend of FIL's and he's just always busy. Nobody would take us all in, 6 is too many.:rotfl:

Valli i'll be writing a letter of complaint to the CSA and it will be a strong worded letter.;)

Well i've been to look at bathroom suites and should have a price tomorrow or monday. Then we went to get a price for the tiles in the bathroom and it came to £1419.00 for the tiles and fitting them.:eek: The room badly needs doing and it's something i have wanted for ages so we need to save big time and hopefully get it done after easter.:j
Now tonight i'm moving the kids into our room and us into theirs. Our rooms big so it will hold them all nicely and all their toys can be moved from the front hall. We were to move into their room anyway at some point so flip it why not now.:rotfl:

Plumber has landed here so no room change yet. At least that means here won't be here tomorrow but i think there putting the plastic down for the floor also sister and bil are here too. Few more things off the list and WM and TD are back on.
