    Morning all

not getting going this morning - getting sidetracked and now have had one of my friends in to check up on me!!!

pooh well done with the ebaying honey - thank goodness that one of these men is helping - take it easy and get hem all roped in!
LadyL huge (((hugs))) and special love - I hope you will be feeling brighter today and back with us. xxx ETA hello angel - good to see you xx
sandy then you need to keep nagging and they might just get the message that Mum needs help - as for DH if you at least get him to do 1 thing a day that you cant manage then that would be good - it should be teamwork anyway!!!! If the kids like the stars then use that to get them to help - tell them you cant get the stars without their help - please take it easy honey and let your body heal. You got your medal for doing 750 posts - the next one is at 2000!
Kazm :hello: hello sweetie! awh thats so unfair not having your lovely Ds at home for Mothers day (((hugs))))
soappie glad the evening went well - the start of a new career?
froddy loads of positive vibes coming your way right now for your obs - but you wont need them - you will be great! good to hear that little shadow is bcak to normal xx
mummyyof5 sounds like a lovely day and very impressive to have done all that ironing too:T
Ishtar how thoughtless of your visitor - I hope the bug passes quickly and you are soon feeling better (((hugs)))
Triker you may not be feeling wonderful but you havent lost your sense of humour - loved the Olive picciee:rotfl: I hope DH gets over his setback and you are both well enough to enjoy your weekend (((hugs)))
tooch hope you are feeling better this morning honey - dont be overdoing it and have a lovely relaxing weekend at the van (((hugs)))

BenW/Ruth honey I am so sorry to hear your news - my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family (((hugs)))

Diva ooooooooooooh thats a big important meeting for you today - i know how much you miss your nephew - loads of *positive outcome for Diva* vibes will be hading your way at 14.30 onwards xx
83Rachel you are going to have to find some way of keeping her in her room in the morning - these things are messy but not dangerous - you dont want another fire! could you get a stairgate for her door? as you say maybe its time for some medication - its something you need to think about - her body just needs a little extrahelp to cope - have a huge squidgy (((hug))) and a cup of tea xx
Vanilla huge (((hugs))) for you honey - you are tired and weary and thats why BD is trying to get in the door - kick it out for starters. Its no use trying to cope with everywhere upside down all at once - try to deal with a room at a time so that there is some resemblance of order - if you can get away with not painting your room first that would be better - you dont need the extra work but if its causing DH stress that you may have to because you really dont want him to be in hospital again. can you maybe get him to concentrate on the bedroom shifting the stuff that would let him/you paint? if he was only dealing with one thing it might help him? get on to that sparky - you cant have that over the weekend with the kids as well (((hugs))) and *strength & coping* vibes for you xx thats excellent news about the CSA case - one less thing to bother about - lets hope it stays permanently closed this time
cyclingyorkie YAY go for it girl - he wont notice!!!:T:rotfl:
Choccybix :T:T Congratulations to DH - well done!
cosmomo hope DD will soon be better and things will get back to normal for you

    BenW
    - sorry to read about your Mum

    Diva
    - good wishes for your meeting

    Dusty
    - keep that dust down!!

Good luck to any teachers having observations, I never realised how often you all got assessed.

83Rachel, your daughter sounds such hard work, I wish I had some suggestions but I never really got the hang of mothering.

    Vanilla
, you sound like you've got too much on your plate, I hope it will be finished in 4 weeks so you can relax a bit. Best of luck in the meantime though.

I haven't finished catching up yet so sorry to anyone I've missed, it's not intentional.

    Today's list complete
(did all the bedrooms on Wednesday, I've dusted downstairs and vacuumed right through again). I'm sure I'll have some me time, I'm so lazy most days it's all me time.

Going to finish catching up while dinner is cooking.

Well done choccybix' DH on the job :)

  • Back again, and I've whooshed efficiently round the kitchen today. I'm now sitting down with a cuppa and looking at everything sparkle... Piano tuner is due here any time now to fix the squeaky pedals, so I had to get a shift on this morning.

Now the food cupboard is nice and tidy I can finish off my on-line shopping order from Mr S.

I realised this morning that I had forgotten to come back and claim my Living Room star for Monday duh.gif. After working so hard on it, too!

So can I claim both Toots?

Living Room - all 3 levels done Monday :j:j:j
Kitchen Done today - all 3 levels :j:j:j

    Many thanks

Hugs to Ruth and Vanilla, and also to Lady L - I do hope your day continues to be better than yesterday.

Toots - thanks for your kind words. All has gone eerily quiet at the moment.... :o

Good afternoon everyone, have been MIA cos CBA. The basketball tournament on Wednesday was interesting to say the least. My DS did so well, and scored most of the baskets, and it was all going brilliantly. They got to the semis, and then got beaten - unfortunately my DS got really upset towards the end of the game - he was exhausted - and walked off and wouldnt go back on. He is only 6. So unfortunately, despite the fact that he was outstanding, they couldnt give him the star performer award and he was really really upset. He has lost all confidence in his playing, and we have had a bad few days with him. I have a raging cold and wasnt too sympathetic with him, and now I feel really bad that I didnt handle him very well. So I havent been sleeping worrying about him, and going over and over it in my mind. It has really triggered bad feelings in me, and I am struggling to cope. Fortunately I am back at the docs next week, so hopefully now I have had 6 weeks on the current ADs, he will change them as he didnt believe me when I said they were not working. In fact, I think I am getting worse not better. Hopefully he may give me my new pain killers as well.

Anyway, so sorry to hear your news BenW. Be gently with your self - I hope that it all went as well as it could do, and that you are getting all the support that you need from your nearest and dearest. Just take things at your own pace, there are no rules.

Sorry to hear you have been unwell LadyL, I hope you have a better day today

Ishtar, hope you and LO are feeling better, I am sure you are really impressed with your thoughtless visitor Glad your mum has all her dates sorted, it does make things feel more controlled.

Rachel83, gosh that must be really hard to keep on top of all the hours of the day - I have read your other thread about this, and really feel for you and how you must be feeling. I am sure that whatever you decide to do will be right for you and your daughter and as you say, once they decide what the actual problem is, they may be able to help you with techniques to manage her behaviour. I agree with another poster that I think maybe restricting access to one area may help you in reducing the clearing up, if nothing else. You cant have eyes in the back of your head, and at least if you have one area that you can leave her in it may reduce your frustation. Big hugs XXX

Vanilla, that sounds a lot to be coping with - is that the whole house at once? I am having enough trouble with one room so I feel your pain. Hopefully 4 weeks will go by very quickly for you.

Must find my lists and update where I am

I have just got back from a rather productive few hours at work, I like going in on days off (I am not wierd) as I find it easier to catch up when no one is there. I am up to date on all my stuff just a job that I am meant to be handing over that needs catching up on. He is not very forthcoming with taking it on and stupid me keeps making sure it is done! I think I will be making sure he gets it on Monday, but I have brought it home and may do some updating later. About an hour ago I was printing some stuff out as I neared the end of what I was doing and one of the lads came in. When I said I felt I was on a bit of a go-slow he said "well I have just finished partying"! He had literally just got in, it made me feel a lot better about what I had got done.

Right what else can I cross off?

    Afternoon all.

Oh dear, I'm really late picking up today's list. Been asleep all morning *hangs head in shame*

Sandy don't give up, mate. I need you to inspire me to continue.:o One task at a time, and remember about how to eat an elephant.;)

So LadyL is the same star sign as me...... Hope you're feeling better today.(((HUG)))

Sexymouse Great news; I bet you can't wait til April 16.

Poohbear wish I had some spare spoons to send you. Was the lasagne good?

Kazmeister I think you should have your very own Mothers Day the following week.

Ishtar I hope you're feeling better today.

Triker for what it's worth, I can't make a good meal if I'm not well; be kind to yourself!

Ruth (BenW) ((((HUGS)))) I'm so sorry for your loss.

Vanilla (((HUGS)))) hope you can send that BD into his kennel.

Rachel:eek: now I know why I never had kids.... Joking aside, I hope the hossy appt goes well.

Lilo hey, be kind to yourself. We all have situations where we think "I could've handled that better".

Right, I'd better get started, or I'll still be flying at midnight. *Rolleyes*
