Evening all
Will go back and catch up on what I've missed later, but have been padding to the slummy jar, so £1.47 please C O M P
Have started my new job and finding it really tiring at the moment, mainly trying to work out best way to get there etc. Really odd, previous job was 15 miles away and because I had to be in by 8 I got there in 25 minutes. This job is in town centre, 7 miles away and takes me 45 minutes of stop start traffic. When I get paid will get a travel pass but using car because it has petrol in it!Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

An early morning hump day PAD of £76.90 from me.
After about 15 months of PADing, that's the first debt out of the way. It was a relatively small one to start with. It's not the one with the very highest interest either. But it's gone. Vanished. Big fat zero. :j:j:beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::beer:

Well done Paul and Sashanut! Here's to killing off the next ones
I'm doing a measly 9p pad today please COMP, running a bit short but I seem to have spent money like water this month, no idea how? I haven't bought myself anything really, the only out of the ordinary thing was Mothers Day flowers! Ah well.
I have a little story to tell... I bought us a lovely raspberry creme brulee cheesecake from the frozen section at Morrisons, and because it's only the two of us, I quartered it when I got home and then put it the freezer so I could defrost a bit of at it a time.
I've just been about to eat a slice, and because I'm wierd I tipped it to one side to eat the biscuit first. There was a great big green chunk in it :mad::(_pale__pale__pale_ like the biscuit was a greeny colour. I was so glad I hadn't started eating it! I'm thinking about bagging up the green bit and taking it with the rest of the cake back to morrisons tomorrow for a refund, what do you think?

That is vile! I would have just started eating it without checking. When did you buy it? Did it defrost before you froze it again? It's worth a try taking it back... they can only say no or they might give you a nice voucher to apologiseBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16
