Oh Sashybo thats awful :grouphug: big hugs and fingers crossed you find something else really soon. If it helps, Tesco seem to be taking on alot of staff down here, might be worth a look for a quick change?
Thanks true, I will have a look. I have applied for a couple of jobs this morning, one is fixed term 20 hours a week but I would really enjoy it and one is temp but will probably offer more hours. Both jobs are retail based.Sashybo - i can understand OH's worry over money, but it's a shame he can't be a little more supportive. Hope you get through the day ok. A hug for you tooxxx
Thanks Hopeful. I'm worried about the money situation too and I do understand where he's coming from. Why are men so dim:mad: - there is nothing more important than your mental health:A Sorry i havent been keeping up to speed with the posts lately as i haven't had a lot of money to pad - what is it you do Sash?
Thanks Boysma. OH seems to think I'm pretending so I don't need to work.I work in a contact centre and it's so micro-managed. I'm used to retail work and really miss the variety of it (never thought I would say that!). Went for this job as it was more hours, better money and weekends off but it's only fixed term until July. At least my old retail job was permanent although it was only 20 hours a week and the people there were great.

Hi Euro - any word on your OHs contract?
Thanks for asking.
He received the contract yesterday and everything was as expected, except....it's for 2 years rather than 3 as discussed. No idea why, but I'm sure OH will discuss that with them today.
Bit of a bummer though, as we're not prepared to commit to buying a place without at least 3 years job security for him(as secure as can be anyway).
But, my old landlords have mentioned a property they have available as from 1st April to rent, which may be better for us. But it's fully furnished at the moment, so depends on if they are able to offer it unfurnished.
We'll see.
Well done Paul!!!
And big hugs for Nicky and Sashy! :grouphug::grouphug:February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
